Summary: Mixed-up Over Rutabagas
Review: As A person of practicaly 13 I found this book fairly interesting, however I fond it hard to follow the plot. It seemed that the chapters seemed to jump around a lot. I couldn't seem to follow it that well. My friends and I talk about books though, and I highly recommended it to them. One read it from our school library and told me that it was well written, she loved it.

Summary: New husband of the former Patricia Browne
Review: As a ten year old I would really have enjoyed this book. As an adult, I felt like a ten year old while reading it. It is refreshing to read a book without explicit sex and foul language; maybe I should read more childrens books. The descriptions of the "visitors" allowed me to picture them in my minds eye. I could very easily have been Walter and had this same adventure. His relationship with Yselle in the real world, became this fantasy. I am sure there are many more adventures these two could embark on and further their relationship. This is the type of fantasy kids of all ages can enjoy. Quentin, I hope you are up to the task. Remember keep it clean and fun.

Summary: Trying to Get Your Teen or Pre-Teen Boy to Read?
Review: He'll read this book! It's a crazy story about Walter Nutria, a teen who gets kidnapped by aliens who want HIM to lead them in a space battle. Walter's qualifications? He's rented more sci-fi videos than anyone, so he must know more about space battles than anyone on earth. Walter is not the best role model, being a kid who skips classes and stuff. But I met the author last month and he told me he wanted to write the kind of books HE would have wanted to read when he was a kid. At this I think he succeeded. You'll love the crazy space creatures in here - read it and have fun!

Summary: Eleanor Cameron Award Winner (Golden Duck)
Review: Our committee liked this book so well that we are giving it the Eleanor Cameron Award for Excellence in Children's Science Fiction.

It is very much like a younger version of Hitchhiker's Guide and should excite many readers.

Summary: Science Fiction Breakthrough
Review: The book "Beatnik Rudabagas From beyond the stars" is a classic Sci-Fi with hilarious twists on villans and normally scary or boring charecters. The story stays semi relistic while still being outrageous. It is an exciting book leading up to a somewhat funny and happy ending. Any one with a toch of humor would love this book. I reccomend it to 11yr olds on up. I give it five stars all around.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Hilarious
Review: This is a very funny, very fun book. It's not as bizarre as the Hitchhiker's series, but just as, maybe more, funny. My class is going to love this book!
