Review: This book was riveting! It reads like a movie waiting to be made. Interestingly enough, I also saw the young woman that plays on "For Your Love"----just last night------and I thought, "That is Shelby"! It would be a shame not to make this book into a movie. I had trouble putting the book down. I do agree, that in some places, you got a little lost as to who was telling their version of the story, but that was a minor problem. This book was anything BUT boring!

Summary: I'm in LOVE with Friends & Lovers!
Review: I read this book in ONE DAY. I couldn't put it down. My Sunday evening turned into Monday morning (MLK holiday) while reading this book. By Section III of the book, I was balling like a baby, as if I'd lost my best friend in life. The characters were so real, they could be any number of people in your life. The romance between the Lovers in the book was interesting but the real interest lies in the friendships that are cultivated and played out with each chapter. This book goes to show you that falling in, falling out and falling back in love is possible...with both lovers and with friends. Afterall, love and true friendship is the glue that keeps all relationships together...

Review: This book is off the hook to say the least. I think that I read this book after Sister, Sister and it kept me up all night when I should have been reading my Organic Chemistry textbook instead! The story line is interesting although some of it becomes redundant and common it doesn't spoil the book at all. Please Read this book!

Review: I loved the book, I read the book three times and can't wait for the Movie to come out. May I please suggest a person for the role of Shelby. I am not sure of her name, but she plays on "For Your Love" and it is not Holly Robinson Pete, but the other African American Female. She would be perfect. However, I think that the book was great and I loved every page of it. It made me laugh and it made me cry. Thumbs up to you for writing this master piece! Look forward to reading future novels.

Review: This book was awesome. I felt like I really knew all of the characters. Me and my friends could all relate to a character in this book. I didn't want the book to end because I wanted to know what happened to everybody. I highly recommend this book. It will make you laugh and cry.

Review: This book was outstanding, it made you laugh out loud and then cry. This was an absolute page turner and I was sad when I got to the end -- you wanted to keep reading to see what happened in the lives of Shelby, Tyrel and Debra. I can't wait to tell my sisters about the book. By the way, I also read Sister, Sister and my next book will be Milk in My Coffee. Mr. Dickey you are one talented man!

Review: Friends & Lovers explored deeply into the many facets of relationships. It covered lust, love, and lost without missing a beat. In an inobtrusive way, it encouraged you to believe in friendship and love all over again. I absoutely loved it!

Review: I really enjoyed this story and can't wait to read Cheaters. I have never been so caught up in a book. I loved Leonard and Debra. The scene with Debra and the oriental girl was to much, I had to put it down, and come back to it later. READ IT!
