Review: THIS WAS A VERY EXCITING BOOK, TO READ. I REALLY ENJOYED THIS AUTHOR BOOK. THE FLOW OF THE BOOK, WAS EXCELLENT. IT STARTED OFF SLOW, THEN PICKED-UP & GAVE U THAT FINALE WHAM! THIS STORY MADE U THINK. HMM. I'M TELLING ALL MY FRIENDS!

Review: In this book you read how one incident can change four peoples lives. This is a story about friendship, love and trust. Eric Jeome Dickey writes this story with class but also keeps it ghetto at the same time. Having brothers talking about each other to the sistas just hanging out in the cut. The story isnt all just fun and games though. You as the reader will not only read how the characters feel but you will feel what they feel as you go on. it has an great start middle and a spectacular ending. This a story you can get hooked on so i suggest you go out and get it.

Review: I thoroughly enjoyed the characters in Friends and Lovers. This was an easy read and captured my attention from Chapter 1 until the end. I was impressed by the style that Mr. Dickey took in dedicating a chapter to one character's point of view. It was interesting to see how the characters each translated the same events in different ways. At the price, you can't beat this book!

Review: This book is well written and a very good read. I could identify with the characters and their situations. This book surprised me in that it had some unexpected twists involved. It definitely kept me interested. The only reason I did not give it a 5 is b/c I think that there are a ton of books out there about this subject, but this one is better than the others. If I could have given it 4 and a half stars I would have.

Review: This was an enjoyable read. I really like the characters Eric Jerome Dickey choose to use. My favorite would have to be Shelby because she didn't beat around the bush about nothing. I liked how things turned out in the end with everyone except Leonard. This book shows that true love does prevail..........

Review: This book was not all what people hyped it up to be. I wanted a refund afterwards! The beginning of the book was okay but once I started to read into it I badly wanted it to be over already.
Stop playing! I haven't read a book yet that can compete with,"The Coldest Winter Ever". Don't write a good review on a bad book next time!

Summary: How does he do it?
Review: I don't understand how a man could write such intimate emotions from a woman's point of view. I got this book when I was 17, after succumbing to one of those shady book club offers, and I am so glad that I chose this one out of the many books available. This book is amazing, and is a must read for any woman/ man who is looking for something very real and intimate. Eric writes this book from the point of view of several characters (male and female), which is an amazing way to narrate a story. By the end of the book, I felt like I knew all of the characters... and I definately felt like I needed to get to know TYREL a lot better!! I dreamt about him for a while ;-) ... but anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and think it's a must-read for any black male/female. Hopefully Eric's subsequent novels give me the same satisfaction. Either way I am definately going to read this book again, when life is less busy. IF YOU HAVEN'T GOT IT...GET IT!!!
