Summary: So Good!!
Review: I read this years ago, but the characters are still very clear to me.
The story line of friends and falling in love is classic, but EDJ has a way of making you one with them. This book will make you laugh and cry at the same time.

Summary: Eric Jerome Dickey held me hostage for two days!
Review: This was my first time reading a novel by Eric Jerome Dickey. I was pleasantly surprised. His writing style is so captivating. From the moment I picked up the book, I could not put it down and I read almost non-stop until the wee hours of the morning. And that's not easy considering the fact that I'm the mother of six children. Eric held me hostage for two days.
I love his vocabulary. I love his style. I especially like the way he allows the story to unfold so smoothly. It really flows. His use of the first person voice is interesting and adds a personal touch to the story. It's as if you're having a one-on-one conversation with the characters. Leonard and Tyrel seemed to have their stuff together. I'd love to meet brothers like them and hook them up with my sisters. (I'm happily married - LOL).
I'm placing my order for the other Dickey books and can't wait to read them.

Summary: Eric Jerome Dickey Does It Again!
Review: This is my second Dickey novel and I loved it!! He is very talented in his way of making paper come to life. His charaters are real, strong and life-like.

This story is of two girlfriends who meet and fall for two buddies. One relationship works like clock-work and the other (although it is intense) doesn't. The story deals with friends trying to deal with crossed bridges, hurt and history.... as well as what to do when your lines cross too much.

And with the hurt of real life; and how those broken-up bridges don't really matter when relationships are strong.

Read this book!

Summary: Kept me up at night
Review: I thought this was a really good book. A friend bought it for me and once I started reading I couldn't stop. I'd stay up until 2-3am trying to finish up a chapter. I thought the ending could have been a little better, but overall it seemed like he hit on some real issues.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: VERY ENJOYABLE!
Review: I was very impressed with this book and amazed at how the author was able to capture each character's point of view so accurately(especially the female perspective). It was definitely worth the read. And for someone down there who said not to write a good review for a bad book, learn how to respect other people's opinions... No one said you had to like it, and personally I enjoyed it much more than the Coldest Winter Ever. But you don't see me knockin you for not feeling the same way I do, right?
