Summary: I LOVED IT!!!!!
Review: I just finished reading Milk in My Coffee and loved it so much that I decided to go back and give Friends and Lovers a try. All I can say is, I'm so glad I did! Now the difficult part is trying to decide which one I enjoyed more. Dickey is such a talented writer. His skill for weaving complex and unpredictable storylines coupled with his uncanny ability to speak in a convincing female voice keep readers like me begging for more! You did it again, Eric!

Review: I truly enjoyed this book from beggining to end, needless to say it pulled my emotions in every direction from Happiness to sadness, And to me that is a sign of a great book. Eric Jerome Dickey has a refreshing writing style that embraces the Heart soul and mind and I'm looking foward to reading more of his work... I'm a dedicated fan.:-)

Summary: Loved This Book!!!!
Review: Eric Jerome Dickey is easily my favorite Black Male Author. I have read all of his books and this is the second time I have read "Friends and Lovers." I feel like I know these characters, Leonard and Tyrel as well as Shelby and Debra. I heard that a movie was being made out of this book and I sure hope that is true. This was a great (although sad at times) book. I look forwarding to reading Mr. Dickey's future works.Keep up the great work.

Summary: This book is all heart and soul.
Review: Friends and Lovers, was totally engrossing and a delight to read. The characters are magnetic and quickly draw the reader into their lives and relationships. This book leaves one with a true appreciation of what else, but true Love and Friendship. A must read.

Review: This was definitely one of the best books I've ever read. I have never come across a male author who has so much insight into women and can depict how we feel so well. Apparently this brother has some experience with women. I really identified w/ the characters. I thought about them even when I was not reading. I'd definitely like to know what happens w/ Shelby and Tyrone. SEQUEL, SEQUEL!

Summary: Exciting and breathtaking!!!
Review: Where do I begin? This book hit close to home on many different levels. This was the first book I read in a long time. It came highly recommended from someone with whom I have shared a rocky relationship, similar to that of Tyrel and Shelby's. This book gave me hope that I, too, might be able to work things out and find everlasting happiness! It was very easy to understand and relate to. I read this book in two days!! And I've already begun reading it a second time. Keep up the excellent work!!!

Summary: This book takes you to places you haven't been before.
Review: I have never read a book so fast in my life. I was very emotional throughout the entire book but did not let out my tears until the end. Dickey's personal comment to me "You could be Shelby" enspired me to read this book and as soon as I read about Shelby's character, I wondered if he (Dickey) had truly taken this from my life. Every event in the lives of these characters felt so real and hit close to home. I like books that I can relate to that deal with issues I see happening everyday if the lives of African-Americans but yet, are not degrading to me or my race of people. Dickey, you hit home on this one. Sister, Sister was a great piece of work also. Keep writing please. Don't leave us waiting to long on another of your works of art.

Summary: This is a geat book
Review: When I first saw someone reading this book I thought it looked like it was a good book. So I went out the same day and purchased the book. I couldn't read it the first day I got it because i was busy. But when I finally had a chance to read it i couldn't put the book down. I felt like I was a part of the book. I have to say that this was an excellent book!!!!!! I Give Eric Jerome Dickey a thumbs up and I look forward to reading his other books

Review: This was one of the better novels that I have read. It grabbed my attention from the beginning to the end. There was alot of laughs and tears in this book I loved it. Would love to read more of your books. keep them coming.
