Summary: Surprising, fun, and sad all at once
Review: This Book like all of Eric Jerome Dickey's books was awesome. The characters are so real andpowerful I felt like I was part of their lives. I'd recommend this book to anyone who is looking for something fantastic to read. Eric Jerome Dickey is so great that I have gotten my little sister, a girl that wouldn't pick up on of my books or if she did would put it down in a second has read every book so far except for the latest which she is starting now. I want to congradulate Mr. Dickey and look forward to more from him.

Review: Of all the books I've read in this genre, Friends and Lovers has been the best. Dickey's books are filled with heart and believable characters you feel like you know or have met before. Even after I completed the book, I still found myself thinking about them. I highly recommend it!

Review: Friends and Lovers is a book about two relationships. One with sex being the main motto and one without. It shows the breakdown and build up of each of the friend/relationships without making the characters protaganist or antagonist, but a little bit of both which helped the characters come across as real life individuals that I were able to judge, find compassion for, and later identify with.

Review: This was one of the most enlightening book I have ever read about romance from a males point of view. The turn of events keep you wanting to read more. I myself found it hard to put down. I would recommend this this to anyone who needs a good cry, laugh and smile.

Review: EJD did it again with another novel that brilliantly captured the essence of relationships in the '90s. His characters were so real that you were sad when the book ended, you really wanted to know what would happen to them next.He did a wonderful job making the female and male characters real by avoiding any gender stereotypes and burdening all the characters with real life issues and complexities. I can't wait to read his next book.

Review: This book was very good. I would love to see this on screen. It makes you cry, laugh and wonder all at once. This is a very good book and I enjoyed reading it. I've read this book, "Friends and Lovers" and "Milk in My Coffee" and the next book that I want to read is "CHEATERS". I can't wait to get my hands on it. Dickey is a very good writer who tells the story from all views (women and men) and after you finish you will not believe that a MAN wrote this book from mainly a woman's point of veiw. He is just multi talented and should get a Grammy or something. He's just outstanding. Words can't express how good of an writer Eric is. If he can write this good I would like to see his Stand-Up comedy or go back to middle school and watch him teach. Buy it and read it for your self. Believe me when I say it that it is worth it.

Review: This is an excellent refresher from the Terry MacMillan type. Written by a man, we catch the subtle and often missed emotions and thoughts, on love and relationships. Dickey accurately captures the emotions of the female characters in his books, making it believable and easy to read.
