Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great characters-great book! Review: I really loved Magician's Ward. The story was well thought out and fun.(Though I must admit I rather liked Mairelon the Magician a bit better-maybe it's just Kim's lovely speech or just the way she is,even though they weren't a fair match for her exquisite tea manners! I loved it!!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: It is very fast moving and entertaining Review: This book was not a disapointment. The plot was well developed and it kept me reading. I would highly recomend reading this book. However, Dealing with Dragons is still my favorite!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I loved it! Review: It had the same charm Patricia C Wrede's books are known for
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Underdeveloped Characters Review: This was a very boring book from such a highly praised fantasy writer. I found the character's underdeveloped, given in extraordinary conditions to hard to believe. I recommend you to rather consider buying COURT DUEL by SHERWOOD SMITH, more action, more character, great plot, a touch of romance, and a great ending. The best thing is that unlike the magician's ward, the female lead character HAS a personality.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A Wonderful book! Review: I really enjoyed this book. It continues after Wrede's "Mairelon the Magician." I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fantasy - especially funny fantasy. This book is very interesting, funny, and well thought out. The plot goes through many twists and turns and leaves you on the edge of your seat. It is a very good book.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Worthy successor to Mairelon the Magician Review: This book is very entertaining and readable. The scene involving Mairelon's mother, the monkey, and Kim is very funny! I enjoyed reading about London's social season. Kim is presented with various suitors, but finds she wants Mairelon; I thought they might get together. The various Continental wizards are very interesting. Kim comes into her own as a magician after Mairelon temporarily loses his powers. How he gets them back is believable.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I loved it.... Review: Mairelon and Kim return in a wonderfully written tale, which is even better than the first book, in my opinion, to find the person behind the mysterious robbery, floating book, and Ma Yanger's strange disapearance. The cast, much expected in Wrede's books, steals your heart and the intense plot doesn't allow you to put the book down! A unique mixture of fantasy, mystery, humor, suspense, and romance, this story, as it unfolds, truly takes the reader prisoner.
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: Not Worth Time- paticia Wrede fanatic Review: magician's Ward failed to draw me in as a greedy and whistful reader, unlike the previous books by this well known fantasy author. Hey, maybe I just prefer reading about her Dragon Series, but magician's Ward had a dull and nontheless boring female as a leader, who is undeservingly given the main lead.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: GREAT characters! Review: I thought this book had a wonderfull cast, especially her character Mairelon. The way Wrede writes is very discriptive and greatly entertaining! I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I've only read it 6 times so far Review: I think that this rivals SEARCHING FOR DRAGONS and Wrede's greatest book yet. I am a great fan of her books, and so I read anything I can find by her. MAGICIAN'S WARD was a really great book, and I recommend everyone read it, even if you've already read it.
