Summary: Grrreat. (and I never give any 10/10...)
Review: A fantastic book. Read them, buy them, study them. A guide to civic anarchy in a funny way. I was laughing my &^$#$%@ off and it was FUN.

Great stories (there _is_ a plot), great characters with a twisted sens of humour and life, great books.

Mr. Harrison, before I knew those books, I didn't know what I was missing.

Summary: THE BEST EVER !!!!!!
Review: I am not a Sci-fi reader, but at my brothers request I dived into the world of Slippery Jim. Wow! What an amazing saga. No one will be disapointed with these books. Sci-fi reader or not.

Summary: Best Book Ever Written.
Review: I can say this after reading it about 12 times over the last 20 years. If you ever feel bad, just wonder 'what would Jim do?'

Summary: The Rat Rules!
Review: I first read this book in the summer of 1977, and the Rat has endured as my alltme favorite fictional character since. Slippery Jim is easily one of the funniest and most endearing characters I have encountered in my literary adventures. Sure he's a scoundrel of sorts, but he does it for all the right reasons, of course! If you are looking or a futurstic psuedo-James Bond/Flint type character with great humor galore, the Rat is your man! I recommend the Rat highly to any sci-fi or action/adventure fan. Or for that matter, anyone with a sense of humor! I keep hoping for a Rat movie...

Summary: One of my all time favorites
Review: I love the story and I love the characters. One of the few books I've read more that twice. Some may find it a little adolescent, but great fun nonetheless.

Summary: The Best Sci-Fi thriller ever
Review: I've been reading Sci-Fi since the wee age of 10 years old, and no book as kept me more interested than Harry Harrison's Stainless Steel Rat series. I've read and reread his books countless times and loved them all. You cannot go wrong with this compilation.

Summary: The Adventures of The Stainless Steel Rat
Review: Introducing the first three adventures of James Bolivar DeGriz, the galaxy's smoothest con man. This is a compilation of The Stainless Steel Rat, The Stainless Steel Rat's Revenge and The Stainless Steel Rat saves the world. If you are after high science fiction, intricate plots or tales of first contact with wierd aliens forget this book ! The Stainless Steel Rat series is a light hearted romp through the galaxy in the company of one of the most notorious criminals ever, lots of fun and well worth reading.

Summary: I own two copies - one to lend, one to reread myself.
Review: It is a pleasant surprise when you find a book that makes you try to guess what will happen next, you are always wrong, and you prefer it that way. Jim is one of the most brilliant, principled, vibrant characters you will find. It is obvious that Mr. Harrison spent a long time working on the plot. One of the weaknesses of Sci-Fi is the lack of originality in many of the stories. These stories are all creative masterpieces. I think every writer of the science fiction, adventure, or mystery should read this book to see how it can be done.
