Summary: Great book. When ya gonna write more of Gil Tyner
Review: Easily some of the best books I've read in a long time, repeat "Looong time" I loved the characters, but I have got to see more of Gil out there somewhere. I've got all three, but I want more.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Read this trilogy OVER and OVER!
Review: I first stumbled across these books over a decade ago. Since then, I have read the series to myself several times. I have also read them outloud to my wife. (She loves my Uncle Parthet voice, ha!)
The author's writing style makes EXTREMELY easy and relaxed reading. A blend of wit, sarcasm, and action make the books FUN FUN FUN!
The story is interesting.
The characters are loveable!
Everything has its place.
I whole heartedly recommend this trilogy! My copies have been passed around among my friends - and everyone agrees - these are GREAT!
My wife is re-reading The Son of the Hero for the third time now!

Summary: In a word... Great!
Review: I've read a lot of SciFi/Fantasy and this series is one of the best. Most of the books being written today have very predictable plot twists; not this one! I agree whole heartedly with the reader from Louisiana - Mr Shelley, please let us know what happens to Gil next!

If you can't find these books in your local used book stores, try Amazon's ... used book location service. I've had good luck with both.

Summary: Original as it gets...
Review: Rick Shelly is masterful in this storytelling. I will always keep this trilogy around till they crumble to dust!

If you havent read them: your dumb. One of my favorite breaks from reality. will reread over and over, and force everyone I know to subject themselves to a slip into the unexpected.

Although written into a corner, I would love it if Mr. Shelly could find a way to bring life back to this idea. We need more in the essence of this first book. Where the other compliment it nicely I feel the first is the best.

Summary: Best Book Ever
Review: this series is the best set of books I have ever read. I definatly reomend this to anyone who loves to read fantasy books!
