Summary: Peter David's books can't be bad!
Review: Even if meant for kids, this is a very nice books. And if you're planning to read Peter David's "New Frontier" books (or if you alread read them!), make sure to read these 3 books (this is only the first part) and re-discover some of the characters
Anyway, your really can NOT go wrong with any book by Peter David.

Summary: I really liked this book .
Review: I thought it was very exciting. The characters were realistic. My favorite charecters were Mark McHenry and Tania Tobias. I would recommend this book to Star Trek:The Next Generation fans everywhere.

Summary: Excellent!
Review: If you liked this book then I would definitely reccommend any of the New Frontier books by Peter David. You get to find out what happened to Soleta, Kebron and Mark later on in life.....

Summary: Marvelous
Review: Peter David's writing is fantastic and James Fry's artwork is beautiful.

All of this make a story. On the other hand, this bookis only the beginning of Worf's story. I really can imagine what Worf's Academy days like thanks to this book.

Summary: New Frontier fans, take note
Review: This series of 3 Young Adult books detail Worf's days at Starfleet Academy.

They are more notable to fans of the current Trek books though because they introduced us to several characters who reappear as part of Peter David's NEW FRONTIER series of Trek novels.

For the first time, meet Mark McHenry, Soleta, and Zak Kebron, and see what they were like in the years before they served Mac Calhoun on the Excalibur.

Summary: Dissapointed
Review: Worf's my favorite TNG character and yet i was dissaponted. I prefer Capture the Flag with Cadet Laforge. I disliked it because it didnt seem to have much of a plot, but thats just my opinion. I didnt even finish the book. I believe "Capture the Flag" had much more of a plot and story. The characters were developed much better in "Capture the Flag".
