Summary: A good reference for older mech models still in service
Review: A good review of some of my favorite inner sphere mechs, while lacking the newer models in the 3050 readout, it has classics like the centurion and panther and jenner as well as exotic older mechs and support vehicles

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent Tech readout
Review: I loved this book the first time I had it. Not only did it cover the Overviews, capabilities, and variants of the mrchs, It also gave short personallity listings of some of the pilots (one of the things I miss in the newer tech readouts). Although it doesnt have some of the older mechs like the Mackie and the King crab, It does have mechs like the Warhammer and Marauder (My favorite)!

Summary: I hafta disagree with most of those reviews...
Review: I loved this book. The artwork is excellent and the writing is great. I can't compare it to the origional, but this is still a fantastic book. If you have the origional, you probably dont want it if you have the 2750 TR (wish I had that one). The cover artwork alone sold me... The Atlas charging and the Awesome reducing everything to rubble was depicted beautifully.

Summary: 3025 Readout - still a classic
Review: I'm sorry to see FASA chose to cave in on the issue of its Robotech look-alikes, but this book, in either version, is still entertaining after all these years, even after its first printing. Now if only they had continued the "notable 'Mechs and Mechwarriors" section in following TRs..c'est la vie.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: pretty good
Review: It's a good book, except for the mechs that FASA left out. It's a really good book if your playing a game with little to no funds to by expensive mechs. However the older ones were better. If your got a orginal 3025 or the older one, i'd love to talk to you.

Summary: 3025 Readout - still a classic
Review: The Battletech technical readout 3025 is definitely worth getting a hold of if you are a Battletech fan. I prefer the originally published version rather than the second version put out by FASA which removed some of the original 'Mechs. This version is essential for Battletech gamers because most of the mechs that are seen in FASA's Inner Sphere are still the low-tech ones presented in the 3025. The 3055 and 3058 are also good choices if you are running a Clan campaign, but don't leave out the 3025 'Mechs for flavor.

Summary: Exactly what I needed
Review: The book is very good. The last thing I needed before starting my game. I saw some complains about missing mechs. Well, from what I saw, all the missing mechs are in the Boxed Set (2nd edition at least)and probably for that reason were exchanged for Star-league mechs (mech that we saw in, for exemple, Mechwarrior:Merceneries and didnt have a clue of where they came from). Several Thumbs up for it. Would be just great is it had a adapted 3025 mech choice list for mechwarrior games somewhere

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: It is different from the origional, but still a good book.
Review: The revised 3025 book leaves out the classic mechs. It makes up for it (Barely) by adding in other designs. All in all it is a good sourcebook to new and old gamers. My advise is to get the old 3025 book. It has mostly the same mechs as the new 3025 and gives the same info on them.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: A primer for the world of Battletech.
Review: The world of Battletech is for those people who enjoy sci-fi, Japanese culture, and Anime. Like so many successful series of books, Battletech uses the story line of an ancient culture and makes it new again by transplanting it into the far future. Battletech...3025 is the first step for those that are curious about the Battletech/Robotech etc. phenomenon. It has alot of neat schematic like drawings, and real-sounding history notes. If you like this book, you probably are a candidate to pursue the continuing story of the Clans. If you do not like what it gives of a peak of, then stop before you waste any more money
