Rating: Summary: Short Stories For Any Magic Player Review: It is not often that you buy a book full of short stories and actually enjoy every single one of them. However, that is exactly the case with this book. Every short story in this book had a different focus, was very well written, and was clever as well. This book contained lots of action, some suspense, a couple twists, and of course some well done Magic The Gathering references. I highly recommend this book.
Rating: Summary: Great collection of short stories..... Review: It is not often that you buy a book full of short stories and actually enjoy every single one of them. Rating: Summary: Not exacttly what was expected Review: The many backgrounds of famous heroes in the book is covered but not the ones people generaly wander about. You dont find out about Joda or the city of brass. You do get to know about background characters like Barrin and Dralnu.
Rating: Summary: Short Stories For Any Magic Player Review: This set of short stories based in the Magic: The Gathering universe is a necessity for any Magic player who has liked the storyline. We learn about such characters as Barrin, Baron Sengir, and Dralnu, but regardless of the character references, they're good short stories. "A Song For The Plague Rats" is an example of a good 'ol fashioned short fantasy story. The only twist is the appearance of Baron Sengir, the infamous vampire from Homelands. But overall, the story was well written, the characters seemed emotional and real, and the setting was creepy and the perfect setting for such an event. All in all, if you didn't even like the Magic storyline, this is a must read for fantasy lovers.
