Rating: Summary: Excellent, Exciting and full of Suspense!!!! Review: An exciting fiction story in Southeastern New Mexico that follows the alien incident in Roswell, New Mexico.
Rating: Summary: EXCITING NEW LOOK AT THE ROSWELL INCIDENT! Review: Author Grady Lee Bryant astonished me with his surprise novel of the year. Roswell One is the best fasten-your-seatbelts action thriller I've read in at least several years. Instead of reviving the often-repeated stories of a crashed spaceship, Mr. Bryant wraps the plot of this epic around the tales recounted by the Native Americans, the Apaches, whose reservation is adjactent to White Sands and not far from the crash site. Get it, read it. Excellent fiction, based at least in part on fact.

Rating: Summary: Happy to have Roswell One on Amazon. Review: I guess the first thing I should do is introduce myself to all the Amazonians that might be interested in reading my book. My name is, of course, Grady Lee Bryant, I am 59 years old and this is my first fiction novel. I think I've had a writers heart all my life...it just took 35 plus years for it to come to the surface. I am a retired Drag Racer who had a relatively successful career. I even wrote a book about my nostalgic days and peers in 1993. I titled the book "Match Race Madness" and it is selling very well through motor sports distributors throughout the US, Canada and England. I started racing professionally when I was 24 years old and have had many wonderful corporate sponsors and experiences. However; I don't think any adventurous thing I've done in my life is going to compare with the excitement and satisfaction of my writing. I will say that I think my racing "on the edge" has helped me a lot in my perspective of writing about adventurous events and characters.I'm very happy that I'm not having to send out manuscripts any longer and that I am here to let you know who I am. Please read my book...Roswell One and let me know what you think. I have two more books coming out within 6-8 months and hope you will look forward to reading them too. By the way...I am now in negotiations for a movie and a script is being written as I write this. Not too bad for an old Drag Racer without an agent! However; I'm sure I would be doing much better if I had one. Thanks for reading my introduction.... Happy Reading!...Grady Lee Bryan
Rating: Summary: Could'nt put it down. Review: I was spellbound by the information. Mr. Bryant has catpured the essences of Rowell. His insight into the tribal history and the events that take place are uncanny. I hope to see more of his work on the market soon. His talent as a writer is so refreshing. I would just like to say thanks for this history lesson Grady.
Rating: Summary: Exciting New Author Review: Roswell One is Grady Lee Bryant's first fiction novel which we find intriguing from beginning to end. Being a new author, Grady's book has not had the scrutiny of a 'copy editor', which will be corrected in future printings. With Grady's past motor sports career, he already has a fan following which makes him a publicists dream. Come and join Grady...you'll be happy you took the ride!! In Roswell One Grady has taken a historical event which has had many writings, but offers a new twist. Grady grew up in Carlsbad, New Mexico and was privy to many stories from the Apache Mescalero Indians in the Roswell region. These stories have been in Grady's mind until he retired from Drag Racing in 1992. What really happened in Roswell? Has anyone ever listened to stories from the Indian Reservation which is very close to the UFO site as well as the Trinity Site where the atom bomb testing took place? Do we really want to know about the Government's activities throughout the years? Do we really want to know? Grady thinks we do! He reveals a sinister secret of an Alien being held by the government since the late 40's. He takes us on an adventurous journey in one Indian families quest for the truth about what happened the night their son, Macky, was born and how his life ties into all of the events surrounding the UFO incident and a mysterious underground hospital on the Trinity Site property where inhumane testing of radiation was taking place during these events. There is only one problem...the US Government has employed a rogue agent, Frank Snowden, to destroy all of the evidence remaining at the hospital as well as eliminating the person (alien) who was tested there and is still being held in a psychiatric hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. With all of the Roswell people spilling the beans before they meet their maker...the US Government is getting very nervous and wants ALL of the evidence destroyed! When all is said and done...you will feel as though you were there experiencing all the excitement. Grady Lee Bryant is a charismatic author we predict will knock you socks off with Roswell One as well as his next two fiction novels (due out in 2000). His adventurous character, Frank Snowden, will be serialized in most of his future writings. We think you will enjoy his direct and to the point writing which eliminates having to skip over rambling and laborious paragraphs that takes your interest away. By-the-way. Movie script is now in progress!
Rating: Summary: Failed to meet expectations Review: This book has a good story and an interesting angle. I liked the involvement of the Indian characters, although the Indian aspects of the story were very superficial. It is a fun read, although lacking in any real depth. The characters are all very one-dimentional. Changes in attitude are sudden and un-supported by the story. I found the writing style to be rather annoying. The verb tense switches repeatedly from past to present tense and back again. Sometimes in the same paragraph. It feels very sloppy. In general, the book reads like a pre-teen chapter book, although the subject matter (government conspiracies and assasination plots) would preclude that particular audience. It's a shame, because this could have been a really terrific story.
Rating: Summary: One Roswell Done Well Review: Worldwide public awareness of UFO/ET phenomena and government suppression of facts behind them seems to never have been greater than now. I perceive the inspiration for Grady Lee Bryant to write this exciting, fast-paced, truth-conceived adventure to be almost visionary. He is to be commended, also, for assessing certain rumors or beliefs of the Mescalero Apache which were utilized credibly to relate their involvement in the Roswell, New Mexico 1940's ongoing UFO mystery....a feat in itself, since it seems many aspects of Native American cultures are closed to outsiders and are somewhat allusive. I enjoyed reading this most entertaining book.
