Review: I read this book 3 times, and all three times I could't put it down, It is so full of adventure. Seth is so awsome. He was the only human and was brought there for his knowledge of science, And Tisha, the telapathic, was there to read minds. Great book I reamend it to everyone..

Review: I read this book after I started reading the Xanth series while I was waiting for the new book to come out. I thought it was very well written and a great story. This is definatly a book I would consider reading again as it's like a good movie, once just isn't enough.

Summary: A Must Read!!
Review: I thought it was wonderful! It had a great plot. I would like to mention one thing though. As one person said, it should have been a small series. Well maybe it was orriginally intended to be but Robert who was a 16 yr. old boy and was writing it was hit by a car and killed and his work was sent to Mr. Anthony by his parents. (Robert was a huge fan of Anthony's work apperantly) Anyways Piers finished and published it but since the colloborator isn't alive it probably wasn't possible to make it into another series. Anyways I think it was a wonderful book and I just wanted to point that out.

Summary: Easy and Enjoyable
Review: I want to be careful about what I say in this review. I am not sure whether I enjoyed this book or not. I have read the novel three times in order to attempt a better understanding of my feelings for this novel. The one thing that is blatantly clear in this book is that two people write it. The plot seems forced and definitely shows a chaotic rhythm. The story itself is enjoyable and entertaining for the most part. The part of the book I found most engrossing was the 15 to 20 page long pre-summary in the beginning of the book given by Piers Anthony detailing the reason for the book and why it was the way it was. After reading the other reviews of this book it could be that I am missing something or that I am being too critical. Even so, I recommend this book with reservations.

Review: If you've read Piers Anthony before, you'll see his style all over the place. This book is an easy read, enjoyable, not to serious, well thought out story. You can't tell by reading it that it is a collaboration. Light fantasy at its best.

Review: It's a good book to begin with. It has an original storyline and an ending with a statement on morals that I personally believe or at least, would like to believe. Before I read Through the Ice I had read many other Peirs Anthony novels but was hesitant to read a collaboration. When I read it I was pleasantly suprised at the freshness of the writing. I'm dying to reveal the other reason why I liked this book, but I feel it would ruin it for others. Suffice to say I think that what Anthony did in writing this book is one of the nicest and most touching things I've ever known anyone to do. A good story in itself. After I read this book I felt better about people and life in general. Not saying it's a masterpiece or anything but it's quite good and I can't think of anything really wrong with it which is all I ask of any book. Five stars is my score and I'm sticking to it.
