Summary: "An excellent book."
Review: ...I couldn't put the book down! It must be good! If you ever played any of the Final Fantasy games, you'll love this book. The story line was so good that I wish it was me who fell through the ice! A definite must have for any fantasy buff!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good begining but ......
Review: A very interesting novel and enjoyable characters. The begining and body of this novel were well developped but I think the ending could have had a bit more detail.A good book over all and very origional.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: loved it
Review: For people reading this review I will not tell you the story line of the book but I will say that if you like fantasies and fiction stories this would be a good book to read. This book is about 4 people who are each from different worlds and brought to one world to fight an evil scorcer to keep balance on all worlds. The book keeps you wanting to read more to see what happens to the four because they are always in trouble. The ending to me was not that great but that's me. I'm a person who thinks that the last guy the main characters fight, in these kind of books, should be the most challenging enemy of them all. Although the ending was not that great to me, the rest of the book is great and I recomend you to read this book.

Summary: Good stuff!
Review: I can pretty much tell where Piers Anthony was writing and where Robert Kornwise was, because Robert's writing style is so much like mine that if I didn't know better I'd think it came out of my own pen. I agree with a lot of the themes of the book, and it's fun reading.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: OK, but definately not in his top 10
Review: I enjoyed the book but when it comes to Anthony, I've come to expect a lot more. While it was entertaining, it lacked that certain something that makes his stories reach out and grab you by your imagination. The characters never seemed to stand out from the crowd. They just seemed to drift along, never daring to be too bold. I was disapointed until the end when I discovered he didn't really wright it, but polished someone elses story.

Summary: This tells what I thought of the book.
Review: I have read "Through the Ice" two times. Both during my Senior year in high school. The first time I read this book it took about four days to read, because I literally could not put this book down. The book was so good I could literally see pictures in my head. For example,in the scene where the four were bathing in the river. Seth gets scared an leaves the water. Then the girl rises from the water,I could see a woman's body glisening in the moon-light night.

Summary: loved it
Review: I loved this book. I have read it at least a dozen times, and I never get sick of it. The cold, hard logic used by seth towards the end is amazing, leaving you to reread the last pages over and over again.

Summary: His Best Work!!!
Review: I loved this book. It reminded me of the struggles of life in an other-world situation. It shows how each character grows and develops; not to mention the fact that it displays all of their emotions and feelings. I didn't have a whole lot of time to read it, but when I did, I couldn't put it down either. It certainly is a wonderful piece of work.

Summary: Through The Ice
Review: I originaly started reading this book to waste time visting a close friend who worked at a library, i picked it because it wasn't too long for the time i would have visiting her, and it was co-written by Peirs Anthony an author who came with high regards from my family. In my first day of reading it i got through about the first 4 chapters, i then decided to check the book out so i could finish it. When i got the time at home to read more of the book it seemed as though i was reading a totaly different book as Seth an ordinary teenager was transported to a mystical land after a fight with some street punks in the are he lived in. To say this transition was a bad thing would be far from the truth the book only got better as more of this world was revealed and more of it's mesages made clear. As i got deeper into the story i began to notice trends in some of the events and morals portrayed by the two authors. By the end of the book, and Seth's actions near the end i became almost certain my hunch was right. This book seemed to me to be the epitome of a modern day satire as the fantasy world seth is transported to shows mimiced problems from our own society. This only made me enjoy the book more, never before had i encountered a satire in a fantasy book, it was very enjoyable and i would recomened it to anyone who is interested in fantasy. Hope you Enjoy it.
