Rating: Summary: boring Review: This book is really boring. I think it is to hard to understand
Rating: Summary: This novel takes the old gang-of-buddies-out-to-save-the-world to a rare level of excellence. Review: This was the first Weis novel I've read of only two so far, so I can't comment on it as a spin-off of the Dion Starfire novels, which get some minor mention in the book (and incidently tell you the end of the Star of the Guardian books, so read them first). The novel, however, stands on its own and is in the classic tradition of "Where Eagles Dare"--a gang of buddies out for revenge for one of theirs must infiltrate a military base, with twist upon twist following. Many loveable, intriguing characters and enough page-turning action to keep you up all night. Interesting sexual tension with the sex-changed character and the cyborg.
