Summary: Good mystery
Review: I have been waiting for this story for awhile and I was afraid I would be disappointed. I wasn't. It's a great story and like my title implies a good mystery. The cliffhanger is very good and makes you want to get the next story to see what happens. The story in a nutshell deals with Commander Gomez heading to a planet that is mostly chrystal. They have to get some important mineral out there while they are plagued by various problems including a mystery monsters that cut people's heads off. I also liked the technique of using log entries or letters to move the story. Very effective. After the two part Interphase story in this series this is the next best one. The second story should be good.
