Summary: Interesting start
Review: Not sure what to say really, except that I liked it. First off,I was happy there were no Tolkien like elves\dwarves\etc. I'm rather tired of that stereo type. Boy, there were all kinds of other creatues to fill this world though. Some I liked, some were ok. It seemed to start kind of slow for me personally. Plus, the characters seemed very similar to each other.

After finishing, I found this was intentional. Since their life hardships and triumphs are what make them the warriors they are. Interesting. Also, I couldn't help but think of Robert E. Howard's work when the battles took place and whenever Adarm entered the picture. That's not really a bad thing, as the battles were very fast and brutal I thought.

Not exactly a 'light' fantasy, I'm not sure I'd want my child to read parts of it, but it was worth a read for me. My wife seemed to enjoy it as well. I do hope he hurries up with a sequel. The ending left me rather, well, I want more. I want to see what happened to everybody after. Surely the world had to of changed and I want to see how.

Summary: I was surprised...
Review: The ending caught me off guard and left me wanting more. I hate when authors do that! This will certaily be re-read by me tho, just in case I missed anything. I have to recommend this if you're interested in a fascnating World of creatures and humans that are not what tey seem. Looks definitly are decieving.

Summary: Not the best...
Review: Then why am I giving it 4 stars you ask? Simple. I enjoyed the characters ((especialy the insane demon Cizdan)) and it was different from most fantasy out there. Some parts seemed same ole same ole blah...We all know any good story has already been written 1,000 times, so it's up to the author to try to breathe freshness into it.
Seems to me, he trid very hard to do that. Plus he's from MI. Woo! Give it a chance, I doubt you'll regret it. Plus, he even responded to my email o_O I was shocked by that having written authors\actors in the past.
The endings kind of...well, like I think someone else said, you just have to see.

Summary: Well, ppl, where do I start? brb
Review: This is truly an appalling piece of garbage. If you part with any of your hard earned on this then I certainly feel very sorry for you.

Honestly, if you feel the need to read something written by a pre-schooler then go to your local creche.

Summary: Great characters
Review: While it started slow, it really picked up steam toward the end. I want another. The characters were very rich, the action fast. My main nit pick was the point of view changes. It does indeed remind me of conan, for better or worse.
