Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Trim the fat.
Review: I enjoy the Sci-Fi and Fantasy genre and the premise of this book sounded interesting enough for me to give it a try. Unfortunately I have to play the bad guy for this review. Staying with this book up through chapter four has been a struggle and to be honest I won't be reading it all the way through, though I have skimmed over the remaining chapters. Most of paragraphs are overwritten, and longwinded prose makes for a boring read. I would have liked to have seen more character development. As it stands even the main character, Ashley Ravenstone, is uninteresting. This story would benefit from a thorough revision (or two). Until then, I have to suggest that people take a pass on this one.

Summary: Great reading !
Review: I loved this book - I've read a few of Rice's vampire books and this one is on the same suspense level. Couldn't put it down. Can't wait for Kim's next one to come out!!

Summary: 5 Stars isn't enough
Review: I'm an avid reader of science fiction and this book has left me anxiously awaiting the authors next book. I found this thing too good to put down and digested it all in one sitting. I can certainly see why the entertainment industry is interested in making a movie out of this as it is without a doubt one of the best books I've read in years.
