Summary: I expected better from Mr. Paulsen.
Review: I'll start by saying that I think Gary Paulsen is one of our finest treasures as a writer for young people. Cody's story will probably appeal to boys - the story is adventurous and action-packed, but I was sorely disappointed. Mr. Paulsen has the incredible power to take a stand on big issues, and let his readers see that issue through the viewpoint of a single character - he did so on slavery in Nightjohn, on gun control in The Rifle, and on war in A Soldier's Heart. Those three books (and some of his others) absolutely stun the reader with the power of the written word. The Whitefox Chronicles doesn't even come close. This newest book is a nice little adventure story, but don't look for the awesome impact you have come to expect from this writer.

Review: Something was up, he could feel it,and the tower gaurds were standing at full attention lookingfor anyone who dares to get out. White Fox Chronicles By Gary Paulsen is a fantastic book if you like action.
A great part of the book is the main character Cody piece is so awesome. He is fourteen and has a very active personality. He also tries to risk his life just to be free. Cody is very unpredictable you don't know what's going to happen
The setting is also very exciting he is trapped in a prison camp because he got caught by the CCR
The plot is also very exciting Cody has to escape from the CCR's prison camp the plot will keep you guessing all throughout the book. This book has three parts to it Escape, Return, and Breakout. Those three parts are all so cool this book is action - packed.
so if you are looking for a good Gary Paulsen book I would suggest this book

Summary: Fighting a bleak future.
Review: The America of 2057 that Cody Pierce, the hero of this novel, lives in is one filled with hopelessness and despaired. Conquered two years ago by a totalitarian state, everyone that survived was sent to forced labor camps. This is an action-packed story, but besides that, it shows the importance of courage and hope, and how even a small contribution is important.

Summary: Review of The White Fox Chronicles
Review: The book "White Fox" by Gary Paulsen was a pretty good book. I would recommend this bokk to anyone who likes killing. The book had good description especially in the begining when Mr. Paulsen described the lady that was dead, he talked about how her hair was all red and her body was limp, ect. All in all I really liked the book but what cought my eye the most was the great descriptive work that Mr. Paulsen used.

Our hero Cody Pierce a 14 year old boy who's parents were killed by the evil CCR and was sent to a prison camp to work. With him and his friend Toni they will escape this evil prison and will travel across this wasteland filled with adventure and excitement and hope to bring down the evil CCR. Will Cody and Toni rebel against the evil CCR and overcome them? Read this book and find out! This book has a striking amount of violance put into this book, but i think that is what every middle school boy wants to read. M.W.

Summary: The White Fox Chronicles: Escape, Return, Breakout
Review: This book is about a blond thirteen year old named Cody that lived somewhere in the late 21st century. America has fallen to the the Germans. Tricked by their kindness for free money. People are now trapped in jails throughout the whole nation. Cody escaped the prison and meets with a secret (last defense) against the Germans...
What I like about this book is that it's very exciting and filled with adventure. It gives you the feeling for you to keep on reading.
My favorite part of the book was when Cody forced a (German) General to take off all his clothes and lock himself in a cell. It was very funny. I couldn't stop laughing. This was one of the most exciting book I have ever read in my life.

Summary: A Great Book
Review: This book is great. If you love books about the future, then you will love this book. It is about a boy named Cody and his is in one of the many evil CCR's (Confederation of Consolidated Republics) children's barracks. Cody manages to escape with Toni, a pilot for the U.S. Army Rebels. This is just one of the many dramatic scenes in the book. I read the book in 3 days. I just couldn't put it down! It has three parts: Escape-Return-Breakout.

Summary: The Best Book in the World
Review: This book is the best book in the world because he made it so you could actually see what he was writing about. There was a bunch of suspense, and there was a bunch of action and adventure.

They should definately make a movie of this book, starring me.

I hope Gary Paulsen writes more White Fox Chronicles.

Summary: Great Action Packed Novel!
Review: This is a awesome book chock-full of guns, explosions, and danger. It is defintiley unrealistic but it is a fun read. If it were a movie a bet it would be PG-13, for all the violence. Gary Paulsen must be branching out into more adventure-action novels, for instance Soldiers Heart and this book. Anyway if you like action books than this is a great book!

Summary: New Adventure for teens
Review: This new book by critically acclaimed author, Gary Paulsen, opens the door for a new series of books for teens. Set in a prison camp in the former State of California, in 2057. The USA has fallen and there is a new, malevolent regime the CCR - the Confederation of Consolidated Republic in control. Packing in suspense, action and combat, 14 year old Cody Pierce, known as the White Fox, thwarts his captors and uses his ingenuity to escape from prison camp and wage a personal war on his enemy. Lots of room to expand this hero's capabilities in to future episodes. Very graphic violence in defense of his mission but balanced with loyalty and perseverance. I liked the book and found it held my attention. I look forward to the next one.
