Rating: Summary: A novel about how changing the past effects the future. Review: The Time Shifter, third in the Outer Limits series by John Peel, was about how changing the past can effect the future for the worse. Brandon is an ordinary twelve year old kid living in the 1990s. He meets his future self, who wants to change the past because the future turned out badly. However, Brandon discovers that his future self is less than sane and will stop at nothing to change his future - even if it means messing up the present. I thought this was an excellant, exciting book.
Rating: Summary: cool Review: This is maybe my favorite Outer Limits book. The book is artfully woven with splendid plot twists the whole way through. The coolest thing is, if you think about it, you can actually believe that this COULD happen. With the way we're acting now, our world could be that polluted one day, and we might well have the technology to allow a psycho like that to make that time machine. This is one of the freakiest aspects of it. MUST BUY!
