Rating: Summary: Visually stunning! Review: After searching used bookstores and libraries for four years, I was finally able to obtain a copy of this book. From dragons to a gnome chicken-plucker, you will find it all in this compendium. It is interesting to see the design process of the artwork and read their creators' insights. The paintings are dazzling. These artists are truly talented to be able to capture the raw emotion and thrilling action from memorable scenes of the Dragonlance saga onto canvas. "Death of Sturm" by Larry Elmore, "The Last Spell of Fistandantilus" by Keith Parkinson, and "The Portal", also by Larry Elmore are striking examples of this. "The Art of the Dragonlance" is a fine companion to your Dragonlance collection.
Rating: Summary: As good as I remembered it Review: An excellent reprint of the original book. After going through 3 old ones and not even Amazon having it, I heard of a new reprint coming out. This is a must get for any type oF dragonlance fan. It also reminds me of how much I love Elmors paintings and how much they add to the fantasy of the books. I give this book 10 stars out of 5, I stole some stars from a crappy book.
Rating: Summary: Amazing! Review: I have to agree with the other reviews on this book, it's a MUST have at any price. The art from the early Dragonlance covers has always been some of my favorite fantasy art, and this book dives deeper in the vaults to bring out art that if you're like me might never have seen. Some of the art is from the dragonlance calandars, posters, etc. This book will leave you with a deep appriciation for Larry Elmore and the other great artists who've done these covers.

Rating: Summary: The art of my name! Review: I was born with the name of Raistlin.. naturally i would want to see the character i was named after. This book provided me with the start to my passion with Dragon Lance. It goes into detail and explains everything (how the dragon riders stay on the dragons etc.). I have one copy and so does my Dad, but mine has pages missing from when he used them as posters. I want another copy but it depends how much i am willing to pay on e bay. This book is worth getting for a price such as £50. Enjoy.
