Summary: A refreshing take on Dragons, and the cost of war
Review: I found Bazil at the super market, I have been a die hard fan ever since. The battles are brilliant and the old hags, ah those witches, so evil in the way they bring about good. I found the blunt doom particularly intriguing, and his creators. I relished every moment spent on them

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of the best fantasy books I have ever read
Review: I just finished the book and have been kicking myself for not reading it sooner! It is extremely well written with superb character development, great story flow and gut busting humor. Bazil and Relkin are better developed and more likable characters then any since Sam and Frodo. I am picky when it come to what fantasy books I read and this one is in my hall of fame. Read my ad; Buy This Book Now! You wont regret it.

Summary: wonderful story
Review: I loved this book! I could not put it down because I had to find out what was going to happen next. I am a dragon fan and this is really up there with The Dragon Riders of Pern. The one thing that I was a bit disappointed with was what ever became of the purple-green dragon at the end. Other than that I loved this book! I can't wait to read another Bazil story or any other Christopher Rowley book.

this book has unbeleivable battles and casualtys against seemingly impossible odds open this book and let it tear you away from the world!

Summary: It was one of the greatest books I ever read.

Summary: Bazil and Relkin are the best !
Review: My husband introduced me to this series shortly after we were married. I have since read the whole series over a seven year period. What a great series! It's a shame that it has to end, perhaps Rowley could do an epilogue of some sort on the battle dragons and their boys...?

I recommend this book for leisure and entertaining reading. The first in the series grabs you and won't let you go till you are finished. Happy reading!

Summary: Fantastic Fantasy
Review: Read this series, you won't regret it. I have read them all and can say it compares well with the vaunted 'Wheel of Time' series in readablity, but doesn't dwell endlessly on characters and nuance. The stories are very plot driven and believable. Each book is complete, yet they all fit nicely together. The final book ends well and closes all details. By the way, the dragons aren't what you think.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The book was the best fantasy book ive ever read.
Review: The author, Rowley did a spectacular job on everything from developing the characters to the detailed yet not so detailed its boring battle scenes. The series were all great books, and im not quite sure I can pick a favorite.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: The best part is the characters!
Review: The dragons and dragonboys make this book. While not a battle scene afficiando, I couldn't wait for the next scene to see the characters interacting with one another in their chosen field. Rowley does some wonderful character development with both the dragons and the boys. While the plot may be predictable, one keeps reading just to find out more about the characters. The inter-dragon squabbles and the fierce loyalty between the dragons and thier boys keeps the story from being just another "dragon and his boy" story. Rowley doesn't develope so much as just let the characters bounce off one another. While the plot does get a little slow and tedious, it sets the scene for the next books, which are must-reads. Now that the reader has invested so much in the characters, the reader just has to pick up the next book and see how Bazil and Relkin are doing
