Summary: One of my favourites
Review: This is one of my favourite DL-books! The storyline was great, great characters, I even liked Dezra though I disagreed with her alot...:-) She had a personality, and so had everyone else!
To the people who couldn't tolerate her: why do you always focus on the negative sides? Yes she was bitchy, SOMETIMES, but think about the time when she stood alone beside the funeral-pyre. (I'll not tell which character lay on it, because not all of you have read it..) I think Dezra was the kind of person who disliked showing real emotions, she was very careful about showing her inner self, and always wanted to look tough on the outside.
There so much good about this book. The tragic fate of the satyr (I'll not tell his name either..), and the races; centaurs and dryads. Dryads has to be my favourite race. And there were lots of clever ideas and situations in this great book!
My favourite characters in this book were, without doubt, Borlos the Bard and Pallidice the dryad. Need I say more?
I also liked Trephas, Olinia, Eucleia (ashamed to say, I don't remember her exact name, but I mean the grey centaur chieftess..:->) and everyone one else in this book. I surely recommend it!

Summary: not bad
Review: This is one of the better Dragonlance books, a solid effort which stands out from the trash TSR sometimes turns out. Well-paced and interesting, the characters are cliches, but seeing as how its dragonlance, I can live with that.
