Rating: Summary: really good Review: I'm glad i managed to find a copy for under $20, it's going for around $100 now. I read the other two and then spent a year trying to get this first one. It was well worth the wait, though i'm not sure if it was the best of the trilogy.
Rating: Summary: Probably the Best Spider-Man Novel I've Read Review: I'm going to keep this short and simple: Though this book is HARD AS ANYTHING to find, it is the best of this entire companies' run of novels related to MArvel characters. I have indeed read them all, and reccomend this one above the rest (as well as it's two other parts).
Rating: Summary: One book you shouldn't be without. Review: Mr. Castro does a good job of describing the wild world of Spider-Man. Mysterio makes a fine villian, preforming blackmail and revenge to trying to kill Spidey's wife! And with the Chameleon gathering up the Sininster Six, it's only a matter of time before there's a whole lot of fightin' going on. But there's one question that everyone, me included, is wondering about: Who is Pity???????????
Rating: Summary: A real Page Turner Review: My hat's off to Adam Troy-Castro for this Spidey novel. It's a classic Spider-Man tale where most of his arch-villians are gathering to destroy Spidey. But first Spidey must stop Mysterio from mudering various people in the entertainment industry who made fun of his film work, several years before. Remember this is only book one of a trilogy so the excitement is just getting started.
Rating: Summary: One of the top Spidey novels in the series. Review: Spidey has the greatest cast of villians in the comics. Here in this wonderful book by Adam Troy-Castro, the Sinister Six are gathered by a mysterious man who has some kind of secerat plan to destroy Spider-Man. The ending of this book only makes you wonder what plan this will form into. According to more recent information from the publisher, Book Two of this trilogy should be out in late 2000 and Book Three sometime in 2001. I can wait for it.
Rating: Summary: Can't Wait for Part II Review: The book was a very good read. Unlike other (recent) novels on Spider-Man this one drew on the wealth of background information on the character from his many comic series - without going over board or assuming the reader is aware of every aspect of the Spider-Man mythology.I also like the fact that this book does not have Venom - this super villian seems to have had a lot of exposure in other books (and that is not to say I don't like the character). But the gathering of the Six has a lot of plots to follow which kept my attention through out the entire book. Too bad the publisher could not tell me when Parts 2 and 3 will be available. If it is any longer I may have to re-read the book to keep the story fresh in my mind. But I'll be ready to get the next two instalments.
Rating: Summary: Too Much Mysterio Review: The Gathering of the Sinister Six is over all a good book, but I think Adam-Troy Castro gave it the wrong title! It should have a title containing "Mysterio". I was looking forward to reading a great Sinister Six story, but it seemed like the Six was a side story, and the hole thing was about Mysterio! But don't take me wrong, Mysterio is one of my all time favorite villains, and the Gathering of the Sinister Six is a great book, but I think it should of had more of the Sinister Six in it!
Rating: Summary: This is by far the best Spidey novel I have ever read. Review: This book has it all. Great fight scenes, wonderful dialog, and an ending that has you on the edge of your seat. I especially liked the part where Spidey webs the explosion-loving director's mouth shut after going on the warpath about Spidey ruining the scene.

Rating: Summary: Parker has a sister... and her name is... Review: This book is a pretty good book, but the mystery at the end is no mystery. Someone get me Adam-Troy Castro's email address!
