Review: Although the Sinister Six will be battering Spider-Man across the New York City landscape throughout all three books in this trilogy -- and though the main bad guy in this first installment is Quentin Beck aka Mysterio -- the real antagonist to watch is a certain arrogant old man who checks into the Plaza Hotel in the Prologue to Book One. He's called the Gentleman, and he is NOT a nice guy, and there's a shocking secret reason for his murderous vendetta against Spider-Man. Summary: A real attention-grabber, page-turner for spidy aficionados
Review: Castro displays a master's touch, playing with our attention, directing us to follow spidy's battles. In this first of three, the main combatant is the failed movie-maker, master of special affects, Beck, but hovering in the background we see an old man, called Gentleman (which he certainly isn't) and a new character - a girl named pity. I can't wait for the second of the trilogy to see what's with them, and what kind of titaninc battle will errupt. Did Spidy meet his match?

Review: I really enjoyed "Gathering of the Sinister Six!" It's a good, fast, thrilling read, and it makes Mysterio (never one of my favorites) into a credible menace. I'm just wondering when (if?) we'll see the rest of the trilogy...

Review: I started reading Spiderman novels based on the recommendation of the "King of All Media" - Howard Stern. This book is by far the best of them all. Castro wraps you up immediately. I look forward to his next book.

Summary: I want Part 2 now!
Review: I think that this is one of the best Marvel Books I have read. My favorite part was during the Broadway when the shark came out of nowhere and ruined the play. In the end when Peter and Mary Jane are looking through the photo album and they found out he has a sister. I think that his sister is Pity. Yet you never with these kind of books.

BUT THER IS THIS OTHER VILLIAN WHO IS VERY STRANGE AND THEN THERE IS THIS OTHER GIRL WHO APPEARS TO BE PETER'S SISTER??!! THOUGH THE BOOK HAS BEEN TITLED THE SISESTER SIX, THE FIRST VOLUME IS MOSTLY ABOUT THAT HOLLYWOOD STANT MAN, WHAT WAS HIS NAME? CAN'S WAIT FOR THE NEXT PART. HAVE FUN READING IT

Summary: A terrific start off to a trilogy
Review: I'm a fan of Spider-Man, and I have to say that this book is really good. The characters and battles are described really well. Not to mention that it's a perfect start to a trilogy, with the Villians getting ready for prime-time combat. Plus this book has Mysterio as a great villian and a dangerous one at that, because he becomes a killer and poses a major threat to everyone. I can't wait for the sequel when the Sinister Six are ready and the Gentleman's plans for Spidey are revealed.
