Review: Recommendation - I would recommend this book to someone who likes science fiction. One reason I would recommend this book is that it was exciting and the characters were good. " 'We must never use the phaser again', 'Sure, sure,' I said, 'there is no pointing arguing with you about it' ". This book was good because Max finds a time traveler. "This thing is a time machine". I would really recommend this book to anyone who would like a book on time travel.

Review: The first time I read William Sleator's book, "Strange Attractors" I was in the 6th grade. Being an avid reader it still astounds me today that this book had such impact on me, and was and is one of the best books I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Sleator is a highly ingenious author. This book had a profound affect on my reading years as a youth. Today I am a freshman in college, and having found my childhood treasure again hope to read it and re-read it again and again in the hopes that it will somehow "transport me back in time" to how I felt the first time I read this masterpiece!!.
