Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Read this book! Review: The book "The Magician's Nephew" is a fantastic book. Digory and Polly go through the different worlds and wake up the Witch accidently. And Narnia starts all because of the lion, Aslan. But disasters are coming to them. Read this book and the series to find out what happens. If you want a book full of adventure and fantasy this book (and series) is great to read! Hope you enjoy.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: The Magician's Nephew Review: The Magician's nephew was a great book. It make you fell enchanted in the magical land of Narnia. This book was especially thrilling when Digery was riding a winged horse.`
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Perfect Review: I could enumerate the many high points of all of C.S. Lewis'swriting, but why? The other reviewers have done so. I would, however, like to point out: THIS IS NOT BOOK ONE! Some silly publisher got the idea that publishing the Chronicles of Narnia in chronological order would somehow help readers. Wrong! This story has a hundred times more meaning if you read it as book six, where it's supposed to be. The others are okay in the new order ("The Horse and His Boy" was originally book five, but you can read it anywhere after "Lion" and still be okay), but you take away a lot of the special-ness of finding out how everything fits together if you read this first. Once again, THE MAGICIAN'S NEPHEW IS BOOK 6! DO NOT READ IT FIRST! Now I've made my point. Thank you for tolerating the capital letters. :-)
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Enthralls the mind in other-worldly wonder Review: This book opens up new worlds, quite literally, in such a way as has never been done. It holds particular revelatory significance if read in the original order (as the sixth book); it leads unimaginably beautifully into The Last Battle. Since my reading it ten years ago, it has changed my very thinking. No one reading it may walk away the same person.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: C.S. Lewis is an extraordinary writer. Review: The Chronicles of Narnia are wonderful books for children of all ages. It is a wonderful set of fantasy books in the secular world and a beautiful Christian metaphor in the religious realm. I would highly recommend any of these books. The Magician's Nephew is the first of the series Chronologically, but the second book published. It is a good beginning for first time readers to the series.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: This Book is an easy-reading wonder Review: Even though I read the 'Magician's Nephew' as the last book in the series, I actually think I got more out of it that way, then if I read it in the order your supposed to. It put everything into the right place, and made it all make sense. I admire C.S. Lewis and have loved his books since the beginning of time. I suggest you get this book, and let yourself be pulled back into the magical land of Narnia with the two children that had started it all.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: 5 stars all the way! Review: I loved the characters in this book. My favorite character was Digory Kirke. Digory is a little boy who seems to be the center of the book. He was the most adventerous, curious, and you really could not tell what he was going to do from time to time. It was fun to see what Digory was going to do next. All of the people in the book were fun. The mean and cruel character was cool! The cruel character's name was Uncle Andrew. He is the one who started the whole mess of the book in the first place. Uncle Anderw was a selfish man. All he seems to care about is himself and the magic. My favorite thing that I liked in this book was when the kids become Uncle Anderw's lab rats! I'm not weird--I like that part because that's when the adventure begins! That's when the magic starts and fun starts. I rated this book 5 stars because it was a book that you keep turning the pages. If you stop, it leaves you hanging. The book is magical. If you like to read, or even if you don't, you should READ IT!!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I wish I could give it 10 stars!!!!! Review: Wow. I really loved this book a lot. I am going to read it many times. I loved the characters personalities. Lewis described them very well. I liked the way he described the places. I liked the part where all of the animals began to talk. I really loved the part where Digory brought Jadis back to life. I will recomend this book to everyone. Even if you've read it, read it again. I greatly disagree with everyone who hated this book. If you did, you need to read it again. You'll probably agree with me then, that this book was awesome!!! What scared me was that Jade is my middle name. And that's so close to Jadis that it's scary! But, getting back to the book.I wish I could tell C.S. Lewis how much I loved his book. I can't explain exactly how much I loved it. I am so glad that you have read my review. I LOVED this book. READ IT!!!
