Summary: the best of Lethem!
Review: This is the most unusual book I've read by Lethem, which in my opinion makes it his best. I really enjoy Lethem's books. Whenever I want to read something very well-crafted yet not the same old boring mainstream garbage, I turn to Lethem. Though I do wish he would write things more on the strange side like This Shape We're In. A lot of his books are pretty tame in comparison to the authors in the underground. Carlton Mellick or D. Harlan Wilson for example.

Summary: More soothing than a cup of Mint Moments tea!
Review: When I was a kid I used to often visit my ancestral village and this place till today relies on home made remedies and the results are fast and quick. Sad to say that this practice is dying. Thankfully we have Mr. Lethem, whose pioneering work in Digestive Fiction is very helpful for those who tend to eat anything and everything. Just before bath or on weekends you could read this book to your stomach and you would not have to worry about nighttime ailments. See for yourself. Highly recommended!
