Summary: A great book in a great series.
Review: Denning's tales of giants, gods, and men are now the standard by which to judge all Giant-lore. Excellent plot and character development, I found it impossible to put this book down. I also was not able to help myself from skipping ahead to find out what happens. Troy Denning's Giant series is a must read, particularly if you play the AD&D game(s). Denning brings the giants of the Forgotten Realms to life like no other author has done to date.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Silly ending to a possible decent series
Review: Save yourself the time and skip this realms series. The first book was decent, but the second and third were just plain waste of paper. I like the main characters, but a good story to back them up. Travis, the ranger, provides a great hero, but the bad guys/fight scences were stupid. The Netheril trilogy was ten times better so do not lose the realms faith.
