Summary: It can't get much worse!!
Review: An obvious vanity publication that lacks imagination, cohesiveness and any shred of talent. Save your time, effort, and most of all, your money. The first in a series? I can not believe that there are two more books of this dribble existing in the small, narrow mind of this so-called author. But vanity publishers will accept just about anything, I guess.

Review: Burn's takes us on quite an adventure in the fictional world of Repsadi. This book had me on the edge of my seat. When I wasn't trying to figure out the mystery of the twins, I was trying to figure out Zaneth's motive.

I highly recommend this book. Once you start reading it, you will never put it down. I can't wait for the next part.

Review: Goddess Blood takes readers on an adventurous ride through the fictional world of Repsadi. This book is shrouded with mystery- who can you trust? Readers are kept on the edge of their seats while trying to figure out the secret of the twins. Why are the so close. Also who exactly is the mysterious Prince Zaneth? What is his agenda?

Burns planned this book and its characters out supremely well. I highly recommend it.

Summary: Vanity press says it all.
Review: I borrowed this book from a friend. I'm glad I didn't pay for it. While she did apparently run spell check (even though it didn't catch every mistake,) this author does not bother with things like good characterization or even good prose. Her characters are the one dimensional fantasies of a self indulgent author. She didn't bother giving them any depth or facets, they are just cardboard cutouts. Well, a lot of readers can overlook that, but I can't.

Her prose is pretentious and occasionally pedantic. While reading the story I kept getting the feeling that she was over my shoulder, telling me what I should think. The author's presence was very, very intrusive. Her writing style is utterly self conscious, in the true sense of the word. That is to say, not that she's unsure of herself (rather, TOO sure,) she's just too wrapped up in herself to actually tell a story. You get the feeling that she's hitting you over the head with her ideas. Not exactly subtle.

Plus, the story was cliched and boring. Without engaging characters or graceful prose, there was nothing to save this story from being at best a bore, and at worst, an annoyance.

Just plain blah....

Summary: My favourite book ever!
Review: This book has to rate as one of the best books I've ever read. The author has obviously put a lot of time, effort and love into her writing to create a compelling and beautiful story. A really wonderful first novel, and I truly recommend it to anyone with an open mind. Can't wait until book 2!!!

Summary: Insulting
Review: This book wasn't good at all. I didn't like it because it degraded homosexual men and turned them into some fangirl's fantasy. It trivialized gay men and portrayed them as one dimensional, and they behaved unrealistically.

Plus, there were spelling mistakes! And grammatical errors, too. That happens sometimes, but should never happen in a published book.
