Summary: Mesmerizing Historical Fiction
Review: The title of this paperback is meant to entice the casual book browser. A likeness of President Kennedy is prominently displayed on its cover. Kennedy? Dallas? It rained? What if it had rained on the fateful day in Dallas? That is the premise and springboard of author Rienzi's novel and its mesmerizing plot. Twists and turns abound in this subterfuge of intrigue, sex and deceit all set against a canvas of well detailed and documented elements of the Kennedy mystique and historical record. Author Rienzi has no doubt done his homework evidenced by his meticulous attention to detail and accuracy of factual information and insightful interpretation of events from the Kennedy administration. This is a vigorously well-written novel. I couldn't put it down.
