Rating: Summary: My favourite science fiction book ever! Review: Battlestar Gallactica meets Independance Day! Well, sort of...but anyway, this is a fantastic book. If you read it, you'll get what I mean by the above comment. If anyone ever finds a copy of this paperback, please let me know!!! I'm sure I lost it on a family camping trip somewhere in Banff, Alberta, Canada. Read this book if you ever get a chance. It's one of those books you'll devote a whole weekend to and do little to nothing else.

Rating: Summary: Outstanding Review: Hard to put the book down once you start reading the book as you follow the "family" thru hard times and happy times. You will be saddened at the start as "The Wing" loses one of their Aces, Maryam, for the honor of the wing. You will be on pins and needles when Judith takes out a crusier and Dustin makes his 10th. My only wish is for Mr. Kendall to write a sequel to this wonderful book or go as far as a whole series.
Rating: Summary: All-time Great Review: I can't find words expressive enough to convey how much I love this book. Its characters have stayed with me vividly in the 13 years since I first read it. Get this book, keep it, do not trust your friends to return it.

Rating: Summary: One HELL of a read... a real page-turner Review: I found Mr. Kendall's work to be amazing. The storyline is well developed and the characters are phenomonal. The thought of Earth humans being an orphaned race pitied by the rest of the races is an intriguing concept not often explored. Especially the fact that humans take that shame and turn it into pride. And the "family" tone, absolutely breathtaking. If you can find a copy of this book, GET IT! You will NOT be disappointed
Rating: Summary: A sci-fi dream with a great family twist Review: I found this book in a little bookstore. I'm always open to find more like it. My only problem is that really great books like this one have no sequel or are really hard to find. (I have a really unique talent of finding one book in a series and then never finding any more!) Anyway, it was a fabulous book. If you can find it, READ IT!!
Rating: Summary: Buy Multiple Copies! Review: I have a copy of the original (1985) edition. I'm sooo glad that it's been reprinted because I'm constantly recommending it to friends and would only allow even my *best* friend to read it in my house! This book rocks! I've only read it about six times! The 'author' is actually a pseudonym for Susan Schwartz and Sheriann Lewitt. I'm not familiar with the latter but Susan Schwartz has done other, marvelous work. I highly recommend that you get at least two copies of this book because you'll want to loan it to others if not just giving it as a gift. If you know someone on your gift list who loves Heinlein, *this* is the book to buy them!

Rating: Summary: One of the coolest sci-fi stories I have ever read!! Review: I have read White Wing at least three times since its publication. I found it to be one of the most interesting sci-fi novels I have ever stumbled across. It has everything you
could ever ask from a sci-fi story. Aliens, high-tech, fighter pilots, intrigue, battle,
and great characters! The plot is intense, mixing galactic struggle, espionage and human
emotion. Since the day I read it, I have been waiting for a sequel which will probably never materialize... too bad, it was a great story line.
