Rating: Summary: Thanks for your support! Review: I really enjoy hearing from all you readers out there, including youngest fans, second-youngest fans, old fans, older fans, oldest fans, etc. Thanks for letting me know what you think about these adventures of Ampris and Elrabin. I've really enjoyed writing about these characters. My next book will be a fantasy called THE RING. It'll be published in February 2000.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Book! Review: I really enjoyed this book! I bought the first one because the plot sounded interesting but then I was hooked. Although The Crimson Claw was my favorite, I think that the Crystal Eye is an equal to the other two. I'm not a sentimental person and I almost never cry over movies or books, but this book made me cry! Ampris is my favorite character in any book I've ever read. I recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of science fiction books.
Rating: Summary: Crystal Eye = Crystal Perfect. Review: I really enjoyed this book. Ampries and her clan, after living illegally on the outskirts of the Viis world for some time, realize that the Viis have polluted the world so much that the wilderness can no longer sustain them. While trying to find a new place to live Ampries stumbles back into Viis library where she finally finds out the truth behind the enslaving of her kind. She becomes a revolutionary again, this time sacrificing everything to finally destroy the corrupted Viis. This book is based on a world far from our own that is inhabited by various species of animal-like beings. They are all enslaved by the once majestic and powerful Viis, rulers of a multi-complex of galaxies. The Viis are now corrupted and so used to slave labor that they are inept. The third one in the series in my opinion is by far the best. The 1st one, the Golden One, is some-what boring and basically gets the reader used to the world and its problems. The second book, the Crimson Claw, has much more action as Ampries is forced to fight as a gladiator. She also tries to get a secret organization to rise up against the Viis, but this gets her into trouble and basically sets the story up for the third book. Both books were good, but the third book can be read by itself and the reader would be completely satisfied with out knowing about all of the information given in the first two books. Don't get me wrong; I would much rather read the Golden One and the Crimson Claw than many other books that I have read in my time. The Crystal Eye is so flawless that it overshadows the rest of the series.

Rating: Summary: a well-woven story with gripping characters Review: I stumbled upon The Golden One and quickly became consumed by the great story line and characters. The Crimson Claw delivered an equally fascinating continuation of this unique creation and I am ecstatically awaiting The Crystal Eye. Deborah Chester is a fresh and intriguing writer who provides us with a delightful new universe to explore!
Rating: Summary: Still excellent. Review: I thought all the Star Wars and Alien Chronical novels were the best until I just finished 'Alien Rapture' by the author of Project Blue Book and Rainbow Conspiracy, Brad Steiger. The shock of reality and current UFO/Alien conspiracy on-going behind closed Military and Government doors was a real wake up call. Made this fiction seem a little less real and exciting. But, never-the-less, I still love these 'Lucas' endorosed books and highly recommend them.
Rating: Summary: VERY GOOD Review: i THOUGHT it was sad when Apris died and tha she sould have had a little more time in HER new world
Rating: Summary: I want to read it Review: I want to read it when it comes out in book form I have read the first two books and I thouroughly enjoyed them both
Rating: Summary: Excellent and Gripping! Review: I was totally enthralled by both "The Golden One" and "The Crimson Claw"! I am so anxious to see what happens next with Ampris and Elrabin and believe it or not I am interested to see what will happen to Israi....her empire is about to fall and Ampris will be the one to lead the other races to freedom and to victory! These books are excellent and gripping both in plot and in the characters! I just fell in love with Ampris from page one of "The Golden One". I have shared her sorrows and have cried with her in the last two books. Now I want to be able to cheer and rejoice with her as she finally realizes her dream in helping the abiru races gain their freedom! LONG LIVE FREEDOM! PLEASE RELEASE THIS BOOK SOON!
Rating: Summary: Best book EVER! Review: I'm 13, so when I start a book, I get to page 200 or so and I get bored with it. (The Vampire Lestat, Christine, Watchers...) But then I found this book, started reading it, I COULD NOT stop. I laughed, I cried, I LOVED it! I only wish I had found and read the first two, The Golden One and The Crimson claw first. I actually fought with my mom about not having enough time to read "Ampris." when I was at school. I read it every chance I got. It was like living in another world, inside the world that not many people know. I told my friend to read it and she said she wasn't interested in those kind of books and it's not even a book, see? It's too real to be called a book. I was depressed when I finished page 458, (I love those kind of endings, but it was so sad...) I can't wait to read the others. By the way, I just have to say I really liked Nashmarl.
