Rating: Summary: Perfect! 10 stars if possible! Review: I am the self-aclaimed youngest fan of Deborah Chesters! At 13 I've just recently finished the Alien Chronicles Trilogy. The ending was extremly powerful. And wrote in such a way that other authors should learn from it. This trilogy didn't capture my attention at first. I picked up the first book repeatly, but never bought it. Untill one day...Then I was hooked. I soon found the second book and finished it in under 2 days! This was certainly a wonderful trilogy, and I wondered as I digested the ending...Did you get any of these parts from the story of Moses? The small similarities are amazing... 1. The pharoah swept up and killed in a collapsed wave. And Israi killed in a collasped jumpgate. 2. Moses only seeing the promised land once. Ampris only seeing it once. 3. Moses died on a hill overlooking the promised land. Ampris was buried on a hill overlooking the landing spot... Coincidence only? This was certainly as great and well written series! And I await hopefully for a sequel. Maybe telling about Foloth and Nashmarl and their maturity. Or anthor reincarnation of Nithlived? Another threat from the Viis? Or humans? The possibities are endless, and if Deborah reads this I sure hope she choices one and makes a sequal!
Rating: Summary: WHAT A LET DOWN!!!!!!!!! Review: I CAN'T BELIEVE SOME PEOPLE THINK THIS IS THE BEST BOOK IN THE SERIES. I'm almost done with Book 3, but I can tell now it's the WORST book of the series. After an amazing set-up from Book 1 and Book 2 (where Ampris is a Gladiator), you'ld think they've developed Ampris to be a strong, valiant character who will eventually teach the Viis a lesson they won't forget and free the Abiru. But what do we get? Book 3 makes Ampris into a WEAKLING! A COWARD! A BUMBLING FOOL WHO MAKES 1 STUPID USELESS COSTLY MISTAKE TOOOOO MANY!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! She's "brave" ohh yeah for making others drink a virus-infested liquid, and for drinking it herself, but SHE HAS NO GUTS to fight the Viis, to kick Viis butt. She got no courage. Her idea of a peaceful revolution is one where LOTS OF HER KIND AND OTHER ABIRU ARE SLAUGHTERED, and they don't fight the Viis back because she still want's a "non-violent" revolution. Well what do you call thousands of slaughtered innocent abiru? Is that non-violent? Ridiculous. From Book 2, you would expect Book 3 to be a major battle for survival between Abiru and Viis. But what do we get with Book 3? A whiny, wimpy, poorly written piece that ruins any achievements made in Books 1 and 2. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rating: Summary: It doesn't get better then this!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: I can't tell you how good these books are! I'm not really into the trilogy thing, when I read a book, I'm bored with that plot and want to move on to something different, so I really wasn't too interested in starting these books, but after 2 chapters, no one could keep me away from them! From birth to death, you're there with Ampris. So if you have or even if you haven't read the first two, READ THIS BOOK NOW!!!!!
Rating: Summary: superdidleyiscious! Review: i haven't even read the book and i know it's good! i'm going to look for it everywhere and then convince my mom that i can't live w/out it! i can't wait to read it! write on, deborah chester!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: It was great. I hope we see more! Review: I just finished reading the entire trilogy, and I must say I really enjoyed it. It was some of the best SF I've read in a long time. It had a very interesting story and it was neat to watch Ampris and Elrabin grow and change throughout the course of their lives. So much of the story seems like the story of Moses from the Bible, which is interesting. Another thing I liked about this book / trilogy is that it is clean, with no cussing or sex scenes. Some of the fighting was pretty cool. It's a very good book! I'll definitely be looking for more of Deborah Chester's work.
Rating: Summary: A Moving Story Review: I Just got this book.I had already read the first two and loved them. These books are about an evil empire and the slaves they rule over at the twilight of its years.Ampris is the abiru answer to Moses. It truly touched me.

Rating: Summary: I Loved the books!!! Review: I love the books!!!! I read book one and book two and I couldn't wait till book three came out!!! Iam really excited!!! Can't wait to read this one!!!
Rating: Summary: Far below my expectations of LucasArts Review: I picked this up almost as soon as it was published...and wished that I hadn't. The character development is weak and the dialog is very poorly written. The last quarter of the book is okay, but hardly good enough to warrant the purchase price. Skip it.
