Summary: A GREAT BOOK!
Review: A touching story that breaks through the hard barriers of reality while still showing the truth and brutality of denied freedom

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Good, but lacked the power of the first two.
Review: After reading the first two books in this series, I waited everyday to anounced release of the third one. Needless to say, the book was a disapointment. The first two books were balanced well between the good aliens and bad aliens. Both points of view were represented and the story unfolded well. The thirsd book however, did not hold to a true to this form. You basicly only recieved one view of the whole story and were left asking what would the ka say about this? Its a must read though if you have been waiting like I have.

Summary: Definately a must read
Review: After reading this entire book, down to the last page, I conclude that this is a flawless masterpiece, second to none (okay, maybe one or two Star Wars books can rival it), everything in a successful sci-fi universe is included. Definately outstrips its predecessors, The Golden One and The Crimson Claw, which both were awesome, by the way. Definately a must read. This from a long-time sci-fi fan.

Summary: Lucas are you listening??
Review: After Star Wars, this must be the "next thing". Please make this series into another monster trilogy. Hire a another gaggle of computer animators (smirk) and lots of designers of every stripe too. Pretty Pleaaaaase. And now that I have your attention, please rethink Leonardo DiCaprio as the teen Vader...I mean, we all know he's evil and all, but....

Summary: So far, it's wonderful!
Review: After waiting much longer than intended by Lucasfilms (2 mis-ships and finally a shipment that made it to the bookstore) I finally got my hands on it. It's August 7 and it came out a month ago! So, after toatally getting VERY upset with the manager, I started to read it. I'm only 11 1/2 and am probobly Deborah Chesters youngest fan. Now I'm only on the third chapter and can't wait to get back to it. Yeey!

Summary: I CAN'T WAIT!!
Review: Both of the previous books were really good, the kind of book you cant put down. A few times i stayed up too late reading these books...but they are by lucasfilm so what could i expect?

Summary: Bring it on!
Review: Deborah, PLEASE bring out the Crystal Eye, leaving off the previous books with cliffhangers wasn't fair! Also, I hope Ampris kicks Israi's tail REAL GOOD! I can't wait for the third book, the two have been a blast! :)

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Good Book.
Review: Did anyone besides me feel that this trilogy sort of followed the story of Moses? Ampris was originally a slave brought into royalty. Then she became an outcast. Hmm.... Oh well. It was still a good book.

Summary: Apologies & corrections from the Author
Review: Hello to readers.

My face is red. In my last note, I mentioned an upcoming fantasy novel that will be published by Ace in February 2000. Sorry to say I got the titles mixed up and out of order. The trilogy is called THE SWORD, THE RING, AND THE CHALICE. The first book out will be entitled THE SWORD. Again, my apologies to everyone for the mixup. Let's blame it on the fact that I'm busy writing at present and getting absent-minded as well. Also, for those of you who really loved the Ampris adventures, you might want to check out some of my older sf titles, written under the pseudonym Sean Dalton. Happy reading!

Summary: THIS NEEDS TO BE PUT ON THE BIG SCREEN!!!
Review: I adore this series and look forward to the next two trilogies associated with "Chronicles". I was surprised at the twists and turns in the book...I thought after Crimson Claw, the ending would be entirely predictable, but not so...Even though the series has "borrowed" heavily from myth and history (from Harriet Tubman to Exodus to possibly in the next 3, Remus and Romulus?) I love it just the same. A must read. My only complaint...I wish the SKEKS were finally found to be sentient beings with rights as well, which was hinted at in the Gladiator's ring of book 2 but never fully realized. Mr. Lucas...NEW TRILOGY PLEASE!!!
