Rating: Summary: The Architect of Sleep Review: This book has haunted me since the day I finished it. I am compelled to read it every 3 years or so and long for the day when a sequel appears. Boyett's characters are proper human and their trials are realistic and they suffer and triumph (sometimes)like real people. In supernatural situations they react not with super powers and spells, but with the fortitude and ethos that we wish we had in real life.

Rating: Summary: Oustanding work Review: This book is a page turner and leaves you wanting more. I have re-read it several times and still cannot get enough of The Bald Ape, Truck and Zorba. Where's the rest?
Rating: Summary: Amazing book! Review: This books is truly original and superb! Kind of like a much better version of "planet of the apes", except instead of apes it's racoons! Great idea for a parallel world! So sad to find out there is no sequel!!!...
Rating: Summary: Fantastic alternate universe! Review: This is a fantastic book and I only wish its sequels were in print!!!! I've wondered for years about them, were they even written? Boyett creates a strange alternate world, of intelligent and honorable raccoons. What more could one ask for
Rating: Summary: My all-time favorite fantasy book! Superb! Review: This is one of those books that I've read, re-read, and re-re-read countless times. I buy every copy I come across to distribute amongst my more deserving friends (and backup copies for when I wear out my current one!) If you find a copy of this book, BUY IT!!! You won't be sorry! Just don't lend out your personal copy, you might never get it back! It's a great mix of fantasy-meets-modern-day that keeps it's interest throughout the entire story. You can't wait to find out what's going to happen to Pete, Ariel, and Malachi. Extremely well written, with believable characters (yes, even the unicorn is believable), very good descriptions of the action, without getting boring or pretentious. Steven Boyett - if you're reading this - PLEASE give us the sequal! I personally have introduced enough people to this book to make you a millionare! His other book, "Architect of Sleep" is another great one, though the ending does leave you hanging and wishing for a conclusion. Boyett - why do you tease us like this? In short, this book will stay with you for years, these characters will become like part of your family.
Rating: Summary: Name your price for a sequel, Mr Boyett ..... Review: Why wouldn't you write the sequel to this fascinating and intriguing part 1? Hundreds of derivative pot-boilers are published every year, so it's all the more frustrating to see a brilliant concept left hanging ...
