Summary: Excellent ending to the trilogy
Review: I must say that this book was excellent, although the first chapter or two starts off a bit slow. But once again, Salvatore produces an excellent story. There was one problem with the trilogy, and that was the fact that it was a trilogy. The third part of this story (the dragon king) could have been written as a trilogy by itself. It seems Salvatore spent too much time with TSR (or whomever) writting the forgotten realms books, and it would appear that now he thinks everything must be a trilogy. I wish someone would tell him that there is nothing wrong with writing a series of 4, 5, or 6 books (or even a story that can be told in one book). I really think he could have lengthened this epic story and increased the pleasure of his fans. After all, parts of this book flew by with little or no detail. But all in all, it was an excellent story.

Summary: An exciting and intriguing trilogy... To say the least!!!
Review: I picked up the Crimson Shadow trilogy last month and are just about to finish The Dragon King... (30 pages left). I just have to say WOW! The entire trilogy made me feel as if I was a participant. The characters are vivid and beleiveable. Far removed from Drizzt, (Not downing Drizzt at all, I love the character), Luthien is just an ordinary person and does not win battles because his skill with a sword is so incredible. He wins battles because he fights with heart and spirit. All three books were compelling, filled with exciting battles and a tumult of emotions. I can honestly say Salvatore is my favorite author of fantasy. He easily pulls you into his world. I'll keep reading as long as he keeps writing!!!

Summary: A Great Salvatore Book
Review: I think this is one of R.A. Salvatores best books in one of his best series. But before you read this book read the first two Book in the series. This book is the best book in the series. All in all, the Crimson Shadow Series is exciting and suspensful. You have to buy this book along with the rest of the trilogy.

Summary: Oh well, we're hopelessly outnumbered but.. hey, we won!
Review: That, in a nutshell, summarizes most of this book. They fight, they get outnumbered, they fight back, things look grim, then WHAM! Something happens and they win. Again, and again, and again.

I can't say too much that is positive about this one. It was far too rushed. Someone else said it correctly when he/she stated that it could have been "a trilogy unto itself" or something like that. Had it been about twice as long covering the same amount of ground, the pacing would have been just about right.

Summary: The Dragon King is compelling and full of action.
Review: The Dragon King is the final book in the exciting Crimson Shadow saga. Luthien and the mystic wizard Brind Amour take on the mighty wizard Greensparrow in a final fight for land and freedom. 2 on 1 seems a bit unfair but Greensparrow has gathered up his council of evil wizards and sorceresses to help him carry out his evil deeds. Of course with Brind Amour awaken from his slumber Greensparrow is taking no chances and has conjured up evil demons from hell. How will this saga end? You'll just have to read it for yourself. If you like deception and mayhem in a mystical world I highly encourage you to pick up this book and read it for yourself. R.A. Salvatore does a great job in scripting the battle scenes in this book. You will literally find yourself sweating and wanting to read more as the story goes on. I gave this book and enthusiastic 4 stars.

Summary: Poor Oliver
Review: The Dragon King was an awesome display of drive and struggle against the oppresive dragon king greensparrow. This book was filled to the brim of a wonderfully descriptive novel with humor, victory, and a real tone of sadness. Ah my beautiful buttercup how i will forever miss you.

Summary: I just could'nt put this thrilling book down!!
Review: This book is about a young man, Luthien Bedwyr by name, which is an Eriadorian. Luthien has to go through a lot with his friends, including Brind A'mour, the king of Eriador. He gathers up an army with even some of his own enemies, and fights against Avon, the land ruled by evil Greensparrow, a powerful but evilish wizard. In this you will find a lot of suspense and adventure. The book has kind of a sad but good ending, so if you want a good book to read, this is the book for you.

Summary: A rushed so connect the dots story, dissapointing.
Review: This book is not terrible but is a far cry from Salvatore's best. The plot is obvious and inevitable. It seemed like something I wrote for English 101, pulling an all nighter. There was a sense that he rushed to finish the story and he just connected the dots. I'm just glad I bought the paper back. I've read every one of his books and I find that his new books cost more and offer less.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: in three words a grand finish
Review: this is by far and away the best book in this trilogy.alot of action, some tit for tat give and take, and more detail than the previous two books.I liked the reunion between luthien and his brother the most.
