Rating: Summary: The Dragon King Review: A decent conclusion to a lackluster series missing in originality - but the action scenes make it a worthy read, coupled beside the wonderful character that is Oliver De'Burrows. The final confrontation with Greensparrow does not disappoint, and I left the series, having read this book, feeling like I had put my time to fair use, in spite of my opinon of the first 2 books. Overall, not bad, but Salvatore could do much better. He's proven that!
Rating: Summary: The Dragon King is compelling and full of action. Review: After waiting for a year for this book to come out, I readthrough it in just a couple of days. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoyit. But... I felt that things were too easy. It started off withour heroes preparing for what should be a suicidal battle against overwealming forces. But they're going to march on anyway, because what other choice have they? And so they do, only to discover that their overwealming opposition wants to join them in bringing down their tyrannical king. Well, that's great. Except that it happened just about every time. Things are bad, things are terrible! We're all going to die! No, wait. They're joining us! Well, we're still outnumbered twenty to one. Onto the next! If this were all that there were to this book it would easily rank as Salvatore's worst. However, it is saved by its various characters, Oliver De Bouroughs in particular. (Enrico Montoyo and Monty Python's Frenchmen indeed, Bob!) I think that if this story didn't feel rushed, I might have enjoyed it more. But I still recommend it.

Rating: Summary: The epic finale to the greatest trilogy ever written Review: An absolutely stunning novel written by Robert Salvatore about a young man's journey to defeat the evil Dragon King who has been corrupting the land for years. The action in this book never stops, and Salvatore keeps readers right in the middle of it. If you haven't liked fantasy before, this book just might make you love it. If you love fantasy, this will be your all-time favorite book
Rating: Summary: One of the best adventure series around Review: Before you read the dragon king read the other two in the series. This series takes you from Luthiens (the main caracter) home , to the southern realm of the kingdom to fight the evil king for his countries freedom. While he is on this adventure he meets many memerable carachters from little dwarves and halflings, to giant cyclopes and evil wizards.
Rating: Summary: R. A. Salvatore takes fantasy novels to the next level. Review: I don't know how, but R. A. Salvatore has done it again! The third book in the Crimson Shadow series is an exciting climax to this incredible trilogy. It's chocked full of surprises(and a few twists that you won't see coming). It's up to young Luthien Bedwyr to stop the evil King Greensparrow and still find time to keep his partner Oliver De'Burrows out of trouble. The imagery is astonishing and Salvatore is one of the best fantasy writers since Tolkien. A definite 'must have!
Rating: Summary: A truly great book Review: I feel dumb! I read this book before all of the others in the trilogy! Now I will miss out on so much. This is, by far, the best book that I have ever read. I am in seventh grade right now, and my (poor) school system's curriculum up until now only gives us "age appropriate" books. This mass conflict thing was completely new to me. Also, this is the first book that I've read with anything being destroyed. Thank you, Mr. Salvatore, for renewing my interest in reading.
Rating: Summary: Typical one sided drubbing! Review: I have found among many great writers a sense of stability and lustered quality that seems to make them stand out among the rest of the literary world. Those like Stephen King, Peter Straub, John Grisham, and others all title this list. In the Crimson Shadow series, Salvatore has isolated simple characteristics in the most complex characters of Katerin, Luthien, and the universily loved Oliver De'Burrows. Even Brind 'Amour and Greensparrow posses that certain air of genuiune quality. Though some characteristics of the story (especially in The Dragon King) are exceptionally predictable, they add to the completion of yet another chapter in a world that exists only in the mind's eye of the reader. I would recommend this series to any and all who have the time and patience to read it. Trust me, you will be rewarded.

Rating: Summary: A great book, a must have book! Review: I loved the book. Oliver Deburrows the highway halfling was a great comedian. Luthien Bedwyr with his great sword battles was excellent. The romance was good to. I wish he would have made more books about the Crimson Shadow. What`s wrong with him! The story was good, but personally I would have changed more than one thing.
