Review: The SDF-3 has been damaged and it might take years to repair. Suddenly, enter the Sentinels, a mixture of aliens, freedom fighters, as mismatched as their ship. They plan to challenge the Invid, to take back their planets and ask the REF to join them. Even while volunteers sign on to go with the aliens, there is political plotting going on within SDF-3 itself. While Rick Hunter and Lisa Hunter go off with the aliens, what will Edwards do? Will Dr. Lang, Breeti and Exedore be able to repair the SDF-3? And how will the Regent of the Invid react to this threat to his small empire?
