Summary: The Belgariad
Review: This is probably one of my top 5 favorite fantasy series'. The characters are very well developed, and I have read the series multiple times.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great Entry-to-Mid-level Fare
Review: This is, I believe, Eddings' first real foray into the realm of true Fantasy, and it doesn't disappoint. Eddings does well to develop characters over time and doesn't sacrifice depth for brevity. I've always enjoyed the sense of humor he brings to his works and the repartee that develops between the characters.

If you are looking for a great starter series in the fantasy genre or a more developed work, look no further. Those looking for the complexity and seriousness of high-fantasy should stick with Tolkien and Donaldson.

This was one of my favorite starting fantasy series, and continues to entertain after all these years.

Summary: Superb story
Review: This series has one of the most engaging plots of any book or series I have ever read. The plot was fast paced, making an easy, but interesting and fun series to read. I highly recommend it.

Summary: Fantasy Novel Writing At Its Best
Review: This series is absolutely and utterly absorbing. I found I could not put it down and when I read this series(about 8 years ago or more) I found that it took ages to get to the next book. Eddings ranks at the top of my fantasy writers.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: an excellant series
Review: This series is the best I have read in a while(next to Tolkien's) It contains many wonderful qualities such as adventure, humor, love, hate, battles, magic, the search for one's self and meaning. If you did like this series, I would recommend the Malorrean, the sequal series. I think this series is the perfect example of a fantasy kingdom. I would reccomend it to anyone from ages 7-150

Summary: Loved this book, it is the best book ever!
Review: This was the best book I have ever read, it is SO GOOD! The plot is very interesting and the characters very life-like and believable. I have to say I could not put it down. I would give this book 10 stars if I could, but it only goes up to 5.

Summary: I LOVE Belgariad to bits
Review: What can I say that others haven't already said? Belgariad is probably one of the greatest Fantasy books ever written. I personally like it better than the Wheel of Time(true, it lacks detail...but the plot is MUCH more fast-paced!)

The characters are all very well-formed and the entire plot and character sketches are so complicated that most of the time, they seem more real than anything.

I've read The ENTIRE Belgariad, Mallorean and the Pol/Bel books so many darn times that the pages are practically falling off. I also probably know much more of the history of the Belgariad and Mallorean than the stuff in my own history books.........

David and Leigh are both Fantastic writers and I sincerely hope they continue writing!
