Summary: couldn't put it down
Review: I discovered this series many years ago and have read it so many times my book is falling apart. Now I am having a hard time finding a replacement since it seems to be out of print. I would recommend the Belgariad and Mallorean to any science fantasy fan!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: *REALLY* great books!!
Review: I finished all.... 19 of Eddings' fantasy books in under a year..... I was entraped by the end of the very first book, "Pawn Of Prophecy". A more captivating fantasy book I have not found since, it seems like physical pain every time I finish the newest book, knowing I'll have to WAIT for the next one!!! These books are a MUST HAVE for any fantasy reader, or somebody who simply enjoys a provocative, amusing, reading experience.

Summary: The Belgariad is probably the best series I've ever read.
Review: I know that alot of people have said this series is great. That's simply becuase it is. There are engaging and interesting characters who you immediately become interested in, and magic and adventure aplenty. It's everything a fantasy series should be. I'll admit that the Belgariad is a bit(ok, alot)predictable, but there are some surprises and you still enjoy it when what you've been guessing since the beginning comes true. The Belgariad is a great series and i highly recommend it.

Summary: One line of dialogue can't explain the marvelsof these books
Review: I read the Belgariad a couple of years ago and instantly became hooked. I don't have a lot of time to read so it took me a little longer to read them. This way I was able to cherish every book and spend the day thinking about what was going to happen. Bravo to David Eddings. Let's all hope that he has started on a new novel (Although highly unlikely). My fingers are crossed.

Summary: READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!!
Review: I read these books and immediatly put them at the top of my top ten list. Garion is an orphan, peacefully growing up on a farm in the care of his Aunt Pol, when one day she takes him away on a quest that he knows nothing about, with people he's never met, to places he's never heard of, to be part of a seven thousand year old prophecy. I won't spoil it all, so I'll just say this is one of the best books ever written

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The best series I've ever read!
Review: I read these books as they came out in the eighties and have reread them 5 or 6 times. The depth of character development Mr. Eddings goes to in these books is unmatched by any other book I've encountered. The story line is lively and VERY riveting. I actually locked myself in my barracks room for two days while finishing this book. This book will not let you down.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of the BEST Series ever!!
Review: I read this series when it came out in the 80's and I have read it 6 or 7 times since. The character development is unmatched by any other fantasy book, or any other book period. This is the best series I have ever read. If you even think you might like fantasy BUY IT!!!

Summary: To bad it is all finished and in the past
Review: I recomend all of david eddings books to any reader of any age.
David eddings is my idle in a short way of putting it... he has brought a new light to me and my writing since i was a child... His books have a certian amount of amusement in them. Yet the characters are all lovable. This is a book that i promise all will remember and read again... I love all of his books. his philosiphy is simple to understand, yet the writing syle is one that i still have not seen in any other books. He allows a certian amount of ammusement into them, yet keeping them serious. His books are like a good movie that you dont want to end. After reading one of them you want more and more. until you have devoured the very sould of his writing.

To put it short i dont know why i like them there just fun loving and honest to god books.

Rating: 5 stars
