Summary: Getting long
Review: Though I thought that this was a very good book to go along with the amazing previous 9 books I have read it seems as though it is getting a bit repeditive. I would recommend reading it but expect some slow parts.

Summary: Pick it up a little...
Review: While I keep reading these books to find out what happens next, I find myself fast-scanning many boring parts to get to more meaty storylines. This began during book 3 and I find myself doing it more frequently. It is becoming apparent that the authors are either being pressured by the publishers or themselves to churn these out faster. In my humble or otherwise opinion, they could be at the same point of the Tribulation with about 60% to 70% of the text to date, with a lot more bang-for-your-buck page turning excitement along the way.

Summary: moving along
Review: I was glad that Richard Ferrone was back narrating the audiobook for this one. Almost the entire first half of the book is devoted to the one-day rescue of George Sebastian in Greece, some of which is exciting reading. Fortunately, after several books of making little headway timewise, the second half of this book jumps ahead months at a time, so that by the end, there's less than two years left in the tribulation. That helped make it a little more interesting reading than previous books, but there's still a lot of time devoted to meaningless details.

Summary: Needs to finish series
Review: While I have loved the series, was disappointed with the first several chapters of this book...too much filler and not enough meat....last few chapters picked up a bit however and became interesting...series seems extended from 7 to 12 books.....

Summary: The road goes on forever and the party never ends...
Review: Okay, guys, TEN books (with more planned) to fabricate a story around everything the Bible has to say about the tribulation (which ain't much when you put it against the rest of the Bible) is ENOUGH! Why do people keep giving these guys money? Isn't the agenda--to keep spinning out more and more books until the last dollar is squeezed from the buying public---obvious?

The theology in these books is horribly weak--honestly, only Americans believe that Christ will rapture believers BEFORE the tribulation. This theology has no basis in history, nor is it shared by Christians around the world. Try telling some woman in India whose husband has just been pulled into pieces by horses for their faith that Jesus is returning before the tribulation. C'mon Americans, can we open our eyes? Are we so naive as to think that the tribulation couldn't possibly involve OUR suffering? Doesn't the Bible have a lot to say about suffering? Doesn't Jesus promise that his followers will be delivered up to the authorities? Oh, but that couldn't mean us.

On top of the bad theology, the writing is terrible. This isn't even good pulp fiction. If you want Christian fiction, read Tolkien or Lewis or Dostoevsky or Bunyan. This is candy. You can get a real meal from many other writers.

Summary: Audio cassette gives you a real feeling of being there
Review: I listened to the series on audio cassette as I drive to work daily. This one takes the listener to a higher level. It is so intense, it was truly the best one, since the first. I didn't want it to end.

Summary: Can Scim This In An Hour...
Review: Gosh darn, I ain't no speed reader but...
This book is so wordy and full of redundant adjectives, you can read the first sentence of every paragraph and be done in about an hour. The publisher obviously pays by the word.
The story? We're in trouble, call Chang. Rivers of blood. Another curse. Car wrecks....jeesh!

Check the book out for two weeks and feel good about yourself when it's back in the book return within 48 hours.
Very, very weak.

Summary: Disappointed with the narrator
Review: I have purchased all of the Left Behind series books in audio form to listen in my car when traveling. They were all fantastic with Frank Muller. This one I shut off before listening to all of the first tape as I could not get into it. The narrator makes all the difference in the world. I hope that before the next one comes out, contact is made with Mr. Muller to do the reading.

Please, please go back. I will not purchase the next one if it has the same format as this one.

Summary: Alright, already...
Review: Loved the first several in the series, but now I feel like it's all a rehash with no new material. Character development is weak. Still worth reading, but just doesn't have the emotion of the first books in the series.

Summary: Loved the series, but can't wait for the end....
Review: I have enjoyed reading the series, but can't wait for the end. I eagerly awaited for the first three books but that slowly dissiapated by the forth. I can't wait for the last days to come to an end. Then I probably will read them all over again, yes even the long, long drawn out ones. Enjoy the reading!
