Summary: Tickle my toes.
Review: From the first time my best friend handed me Piers Anthony's "A Spell for Chameleon," I've been stuck in the land of Xanth quite happily. The characters are just so interesting, and reading through these is never more of a burden than eating candy or popcorn. They are completly delightful, and the stories don't wane, each is uniguely magnificent in it's own respect. I'm on book seven now, and haven't felt any mileage yet. Oh and by the way,...I'm not a baby! -I turn 21 this month!- It's not just for children; just those who like to like to randomly smile in solitude.

Summary: A great read for people 6th grade and up!
Review: I feel that this is actually 3 books in one. The first one is about Prince Dor and his friends. Dor is king while King Trent goes to Mundania to trade. But King Trent does not come back so Dor and his friends go to Mundania. In Ogre, Ogre Smash goes to the Good Magician to find his answer; but he forgets his question. For his year of service to the magician he must take Tandy, a teenaged human/nymph with him to Lake Ogrechobee to find a wife. Tandy needs his protection because a demon tries to rape her at her home. I loved the ending of this one! Imbri, the nightmare, has half of a soul and thinks of rainbows, things other than her job. So the night stallion makes her a daymare. Her first message is to Chameleon"BEWARE THE HORSEMAN" But too soon thinks she finds what the message means and gets caught in the trap herself. Then, Mundanes invade Xanth. Imbri must deliver another message"BREAK THE CHAIN" Meanwhile the kings are all being magiked, falling into trances, getting caught in gourds. Soon it is up to Imbri to save Xanth...

Summary: Xanth in General
Review: I only enjoyed this book becaiuse my earlier copies of these three books were torn to sherds, and these had been more or less, some of my favorites in the series. The first half of the series is excellent,it droops after that. The first book(which isn't included in this collection)is by far the best. Although the stories and details make the books fun, most readers will find the stories dragged down by the literally hundreds of puns piled in them. If not for this, these books would be even more popular. If you're looking for good fantasy and can stomach the horrible puns, this is a great book series.

Summary: Best series since Narnia...No, even better!!!!
Review: I was a dedicated Narnia fan and would read little else until given a battered copy of A Spell For Chameleon by a librarian. I've been hooked ever since! Piers Anthony has woven a world full of fantasy and fun, where anything (and everything) can (and usually does) happen. A great series for kids and members of the Adult Conspiracy alike. I almost wish Piers could write faster!!!!

Summary: Xanth is great!
Review: I've adored xanth since I was introduced to it by a friend a few years ago. Since then I've collected all the Xanth books except the latest (Zombie Lover). There are 23 of them! They're great, and these early ones are some of the best. For people of all ages!!

Summary: Would recommend for any one
Review: Piers Anthony certainly has a way with words, and uses many of them in this "triology ran wild".

I would recommend this series to anyone from age 12 to 112. These books are wonderfully entertaining and amusing. Real page turners. When I was younger, I would read one in a sitting. I have recently introduced my 14 yr old step daughter to them, and she loves them.
