Summary: Pretty decent
Review: This Prologue probably wouldn't meet up to the expectations of anyone who's been waiting two years for the book, but it's still a good read. Appearances by certain characters who we haven't seen before, or in quite awhile, make up for the slow parts. All in all, a good introduction to the next book, that doesn't give enough away to make you want the whole book any less.
The interview included with it was okay. Not many answers about the series itself.

Summary: E-book restrictions not for me!
Review: Tired of reading page after page on your dim computer screen? Maybe you're thinking of printing this book out? Or even copying it to your laptop so you can read it at home? Reformatting your computer anytime soon?

If you answered 'YES' to any of these questions, then SORRY, this e-book is NOT FOR YOU. You cannot print it out, you cannot copy it to another computer, and you certainly cannot share it with a friend. If all you want is to read this 'book' on the computer screen you're sitting at now, then go ahead and buy into whatever license agreement that this purchase implies. But don't under any circumstance think that this will then become your book.

Summary: Quit you whining
Review: To everybody who whines that Jordan is just dragging the series out, I only have this to say: For people who enjoy the series you want it to end awfully bad. Part of the fun is the suspense of what will happen next. What happens when there is no next? Enjoy yourselves and stop whining like you're Aes Sedai.

As for the prologue, it is interesting, no more no less. I'd suggest waiting until January for the whole thing and if you really need a fix read Time to be gone on Tor.com.

While I agree things have slowed a bit, the story has been progressing. Jordan has carefully set up this story and the dominoes are about to topple over, book 10 should be a fun ride.

Summary: Not Yet
Review: What are all the complaints about? Can't you see that it is like the quiet before a battle? The book "Crossroads of Twilight" is getting you ready for something big happening in the next book. It may be a little slow, but not every book is perfect. This review is probably not very helpful to all of the avid readers, but I am reading this book and am enjoyng the descriptions of the character's emotions and how there is the mystery of the black ajah and you get to hear how the evil side thinks.

Summary: Sneak Preview
Review: While it is true that the book 'Crossroads of Twilight' is a little overdue, TOR has released this Prologue to the book which is now the Tenth in the series. The Prologue is everything that fans of the series have come to expect of Robert Jordan, and I anxiously await the book itself. The Wheel of Time is the most in-depth fantasy genre novel collection I have ever read, or heard of. No book even comes close to rivaling the complexity of the tapistry woven by Robert Jordan, and it is hard to imagine that any series ever will. I recommmend this series to those who truly love the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, Terry Goodkind, or any of the great writers of fantasy novels, because that's exactly what Robert Jordan is... truly an author who will change the face, if not the scope, of the entire genre!

Summary: Mac?
Review: Why not do the world a favor and put all the ebooks in Acrobat format? Then everyone would be able read, and buy, these books. Not just windows junkies.

Summary: Hope nothing happens to Jordan
Review: Yeah the material is great, this prologue is great, his world is rich, but you all already know that. The one thing that I have to add is that if anything were to happen to Robert Jordan, I would be very...right now. He needs to end the series soon, he's getting too old to keep putting out 1000 page books every 2 years.

Summary: ...and the Rolling Stones are having another FINAL tour...
Review: Yes, I have read the first NINE of Mr. Jordan's Wheel of Time. I guess I am stubborn that way, I like to finish what I've started. I just wish Bob Jordan felt the same way.
There are characters in this series that I've become very attached to, like Mat and his exciting little side escapades. But the playbill just keeps getting larger and one almost has to keep returning to previous volumes to keep track of who is whom.
The thought of having to PAY for a book that entices the prospective readers to BUY more and more books is nothing more than a way to further enrich Mr. Jordan. P'shaw, I say!
This series could have been wrapped up in half the volumes.
And anyone that equates the writings of Tolkien, Tad Williams or even Terry Brooks hasn't really read those authors. Those gentlemen understood the true meaning of the word "epic". Build a world and populate it, outline the basic story and that is the first book. Then add in interesting twists but move on toward a conclusion - this is the second and possibly third books. Then wrap it up! Find closure! Get a clue! If Bob Jordan isn't sure what his characters are going to do at the end of the series, spend a bit more time. We'll wait if it is something worth waiting for! Read Terry Goodkind of it want a great epic without all the whoo-ha! Glad I bought my books on eBay.

Summary: Long prologue, but some good stuff
Review: Yes, it was a bit slow at the beggining but it really picks up the pace. I didn't really mind missing Rand al'Thor and they introduced some cool characters. I'm a huge fan of Jordan's work and im kinda of disappointed that there are only 2 more after this one.

Overall this prologue was impressive, I like that political stuff that he puts in with the black ajah and the black tower (reminds me of George R. R. Martin).

But I still say I shouldn't have bought this prologue and should have just waited for the real thing to come out but what can a poor diehard fan do when he's waited 2 years for a sequel!?!
