Rating: Summary: Jeff Grubb Did it Again! Review: Following up the beginning of the Artifacts Cycle (The Brothers' War), Jeff Grubb has wrote an interesting book that details mainly The Dark, with characters such as Barl, the Rag Man, Lord Ith, and the Pretender Mairsil. This book is very good, and I look forward to the rest of the cycle. =]

Rating: Summary: it kicks Review: I read this book in two days and I cant wait tell the next comes out. I hope the second book will be about jodah too.
Rating: Summary: Jodah, Ith, Barl, Marsil, A tale of darkness. Review: Jeff Grubb is a great writer. His other three books as of this are "The Brothers War" a five star book all the way, "The Enternal Ice" Story of Jodah continued Marsils return..., "The Shatterd Allience" This book isn't out yet but I know it will kick @$$. About this book: If you have never played magic but just like fantesy READ THIS BOOK! I has a great twisting plot that not only explains the way magic works(this is very importent if you read any other books in the serries) but devollops ever cooler charecters. Now if you play the game read this with a open mind you might not like it at first but as you read it the cards from the set "THE DARK" they fallow alot of this book and its theme very well(Barls cage, rag man, wand of Ith, Maze of Ith they are all covered in a story way in this book.) This is my third altime favorite book. Arena being first, Myst the book of D'ni second then this book with the brothers war fourth. You MUST READ THIS BOOK!

Rating: Summary: Oh, it's good Review: Needless to say, this is the best book I have ever read. I haven't read any other fantasy novels, but that doesn't matter. Jeff Grubb did a great job on writing this book, and I've heard that the many other books written by him are also very good. One thing I like about this book is how is explains situations just enough to get a grip on them, and then moves to the next. Every chapter introduces a newer circumstance which fits perfectly into the storyline so the reader understands everything that's going on, and the ending has an equally good climax. The only thing I can think of that I didn't like about this novel is how Jeff Grubb began and finished scenes too quickly. It seems like there's a constant rush from one thing to the next, which makes it a little more difficult to get a grasp on the situation. Also, this book is more action than anything. Another thing that's good about this book is that you know just about as much of what's going on as the main character knows is going on. So, If you like fantasy, this is the book for you. If you never read books like me and are wanting a decent book to read while in the car going somewhere, try this one out. You won't be dissatisfied, trust me.
