Rating: Summary: One of the best novels I've read Review: The Mirale Strain is one of the best novels I've read. The plot is engaging from page one and never stops. I read it in one sitting, a real couldn't put it down type book. In dealing with the complex and sensitive subjects of religion and genetics, Mr Cordy has provided the reader with much food for thought along with some very nice twists. I'm not in the least surprised that Disney has snapped up the film rights and I only hope that they do it right.
Rating: Summary: THe miracle strain Review: This book is GROUNDBRAKING teh story is wonderful SOME ONE MAKE IT A MOVIE! author 2 words" WRITE MORE"

Rating: Summary: Worth reading, concepts are thought provoking Review: This book is worth reading for the thought provoking concepts it offers. I was disappointed only in the last line. The concept of the lady or the tiger...let the reader decide... was interesting the first few times but gets old. It makes one wonder if Cordy is not setting up the possibility of a movie with sequels. Ignore the epilogue and the book is great.
Rating: Summary: A great book Review: This debut novel for Cordy is great. It poses a very interesting question: what would we find in the genes of Christ? A great science fiction thriller with a religious twist. I am a devout Christian and I loved this book. You should read it. I heard it's being made into a movie. It would do very well as a movie and be a relief from most junk movies of present. Everybody should read this!

Rating: Summary: The science in this book is almost here and believable. Review: This first-time novel is very well done. The plot intertwines almost believable science with a cloak and dagger secret society. If you are a Christian you will be in for a rough ride - the author asks us to stretch our beliefs to the limit and then some. I smell a sequel around the corner.
Rating: Summary: Excllent Idea, topped off by Excellent Writing Review: This is a great subject to think about. Cordy comes up with a great idea. This book can't be put down once started. A great book for all who like medical thrillers. Warning-anyone with extreme Christian beliefs should not read this.
Rating: Summary: Interesting Review: This is a novel in which the Theology and Science - antagonistic most of the time - join forces to reach the same objective with different purposes, the religious one to find a reincarnation of the Messiah, the scientific one to find a miracle gen to eradicate several diseases. A novel with an interesting scheme but with a messianic close for my taste.
Rating: Summary: Outstanding pace, technically accessible, excellent read! Review: This story was truly inventive and thought provoking. At the intersection of science and religion, I found this genetic thriller wonderfully paced. It questioned the very essence of religious belief, and the potentially apocalyptic and extraordinary possibilites of scientific achievement. I could not put it down!!!! Bravo for a debut author.
