Summary: And he didn't inhale, either...
Review: Sure, Billy Bob, sure. Call me a Right Winger (You're a Right Winger, Steve) but this guy dragged the Presidency through its lowest trough since Watergate.

As if the pitiful "tried Pot but didn't inhale" fiasco didn't tell us what kind of man, or was it lying toad, we were dealing with, he tops it all off by betraying his wife and disgracing his Office by obtaining Executive Relief from a cheap tramp in the dang White House itself.

The shameful lack of condemnation from various Liberal factions speaks volumes about their collective integrity. Coulter quite rightly nails Billy Bob on this issue, which was a double moral outrage, but also on major concerns such as Whitewater.

Her case for impeachment is unassailable, especially given her own Legal background, and the limping dog denials by the Clinton Right Or Wrong brigade do nothing to diminish the strength of Ann's arguments.

This is a very important book, but the ultimate Coulter Classic is Slander: Liberal Lies About The American Right, which was understandably an Amazon best seller. There's not much to stand up and cheer about in this world, but Ann Coulter's books certainly fill the bill.

Summary: Very good writer who was dropped on her head as a child
Review: I am an independent politically, and while Ms. Coulter is a clearly gifted writer, she is also clearly trying to sell books. Reading this book reminded me of all that is wrong with this country, Bill included. The societal problem here is twofold: 1) sensationalism, 2) our corrupt leadership.... The Dem's weren't involved in Watergate, Iran-Contra, the Invasion of Panama etc... Be objective, read opposing views, turn off the spin (TV), and think for yourself. Then commit to doing something about the huge void of leadership our political system has left us with. The most engaging and brilliant people in America today are definitely not in politics. People just think they are because the media....It is very hard to find political people who are just trying to serve the good of the people, as oppossed to their own. The same goes with authors. The only path to objectivity is to hear all sides. Ms. Coulter is surely right about alot of things, but her delivery is slanted toward selling books.

Summary: Good read, if a bit far to the right
Review: Ann Coulter - the perfect literary assassin.

Ms. Coulter manages to cover the facts in an entertaining but brutal manner. She does tend to get a little outrageous with her commentary, and this is part of what amuses me so much about her. If you're liberal or hard-core democrat, this book will make you twitch. If republican or simply unaffiliated, this book is entertaining and informative.

Summary: Trash and hypocrisy
Review: I'm sorry, but when you have a book that tries to say that liberals have been wrong about everything in the past half century while obstensibly covering the Clinton impeachment saga, you carry "partisan politics" to a whole new level.

Liberals have been wrong about everything in the past 50 years? I suppose that includes the civil rights movement, vietnam war protests and the indictment of our worst domestic president ever, "I am not a crook" Nixon?

Ms. Coulter takes name calling to a whole new level ("we need to physically intimidate liberals... or they will all turn traitors") while pretending that liberals love to call other people names. Nice job on the self-rightoues idiocy, senora Coulter.

Summary: Just another pundit caught in her own spin
Review: Ms. Coulter is not by any means the objective source necessary to discuss these items. The most laughable part of her book concerns how liberals are prone to name calling, and have no facts to back up their claims in the media. This reviewer does not attempt to dispute that, but I do believe that failing to acknowledge likewise behavior from her side of the political spectrum as well creates a hypocritical stance. This rhetoric is the common bail-out answer of pundits on both sides of the political spectrum. This is nothing more than RNC propaganda, and I'm sure it'll be followed up by someone as equally sophomoric on the left. If you're someone who likes those who preach to the choir you're in, buy this book. If you want an objective, academic interpretation of politics in America, stick with the professionals in academia.

Summary: Laughable
Review: Rather than rant about whether Ms. Coulter is right or wrong about the Clinton Administration, I would rather comment about her style of writing.

Ms. Coulter's writing is average. It doesn't take a great intellect to discern her meaning. It does require a bit of patience to get through all the furious flag waving and name calling. Her constant use of the term "the framers" (in lieu of the Founding Fathers) and various forms of the word "pervert" for Clinton got old very fast. She also couldn't decide if Clinton "molested" interns or had affairs with them (two very different actions). At times, her book seemed more like a tabloid than an investigation into the alleged crimes of the former President.

In her defense, she tries to do a thorough job by sifting through all the scandals and supposed cover-ups. If she could have tempered her language and insults, the book could have been a lot more interesting.

Summary: ann coulter is barking mad
Review: the whole clinton impeachment was covered throughly by the media, so you have to wonder what ms. coulter has to add other than lies and half truths.

Summary: EYE OPENING BOOK
Review: Between this and L.D. Brown's book on Clinton, the things that have surfaced now is enough to wonder how so many people could have been made a fool of for so long.

Summary: AMAZING READ!
Review: This book is excellent-well written, well researched and very interesting, page after page. Ann knows her stuff and doesn't pull any punches (there's a reason it's a bestseller!). I don't understand the hate expressed in the negative reviews that attack her personally. I suppose some people are still embarrassed about voting for Bill Clinton. In any case, you'll find this well worth the read, whether you agree with her or just want to get to know the enemy.

Summary: A SCATHING ASSESSMENT OF CLINTON'S MANY SCANDALS
Review: One would require a library to house the documented scandals, suspected criminal activity, and ethical "lapses" of the Klinton administration. Ann Coulter covers more than a few of them here as she assesses the Whitewater scandal, Vince Foster's mysterious death, Filegate, and much more. Coulter's writing style reflects her TV persona - at once sarcastic, scathing, and brilliant. Her agile mind, rhetorical skills, and education as a constitutional lawyer send the liberals running for cover. Democrats who challenge her often fall flat because she never backs off an argument and invariably proves them wrong.

Ms. Coulter is now being taken to task for saying: 'We need to execute people like John Walker (Lindh) in order to physically intimidate liberals... Otherwise they will turn out to be outright traitors..." Liberal indignation here is clearly hypocrital considering their hysterical railings against conservatives. To wit: Democrat liberal Julianne Malveaux on Justice Clarence Thomas - 'I hope his wife feeds him lots of eggs and butter so he dies early like many black men do...' Sen. Tom Daschle on any Republican - 'They want to starve young children and kill old people.' Liberal icon Alec Baldwin -'The Republicans (on impeachment committee), their wives and children, should be stoned to death...' Democrat congressman John Lewis -'The sharks still swim the same routes today in search of bodies which were thrown over the slave ships...(presumably by the forebears of white Republicans). Democrat Robert Altman - 'When I see the American flag I think it's a joke...'

Unlike anything written by the Demoncrats, Coulter backs up everthing in this book with documented facts and law. Truth seekers will also want her new book due out June,'02 entitled Slander: Liberal Lies About the American Right. In the meantime, read High Crimes as further expose' of a presidency which failed to deliver on its promise to 'run the most ethical administration in the history of the republic...'
