Rating: Summary: A shameful revelation of the "State of the Union"! Review: An outstanding read; but only if you have the stomach for a revealing insight into the actions of an individual that was to bring us the "most ethical administration in history". More shameful are the actions of our elected and appointed officials who will likely refuse to display the courage required to deal with this proposed model of today's society.
Rating: Summary: A well organized and thoroughly documented account. Review: I found Ms. Coulter's book to be a surprisingly easy read. Each chapter peels away a little more of the onion and until it finally arrives at its rotten core. Her analysis of the Constitution was most enlightening. I particularly liked her inclusion of the comments from the Federalist Papers and of our founding fathers.
Rating: Summary: First-rate Review: The reviews below that claim the positive reviews on this page could only be a result of partisanism--I can only say that your bashing this book can only be a result of partisanism. There are indisputable, documented facts presented in this book that show Clinton to be a sleazy, immoral, opportunistic manipulator...AT BEST! Even if you don't believe Ms. Coulter makes her case that Clinton should be impeached, you still can't deny that she DOES make the case that Clinton is rotten to the core. This book is a readable and informative assessment of the Clinton White House.
Rating: Summary: Finally, someone who makes the scandals understandable! Review: Ms. Coulture has done a great job in explaining the terms "high crimes and misdemeanors". She has also done a fabulous job in helping the average American wade through the spin to understand why Bill Clinton should be and will be impeached. After reading her book, I now realize that Clinton is the most corrupt president to ever occupy the office -- he is up there with the first democratic president -- Andrew Jackson (who was extremely corrupt). However, it doesn't look like Clinton will wind up on any of our monetary currency -- thank God for small favors -- and thank you Ann Coulture for your insight!
Rating: Summary: For those patriots who still believe in the Constitution. Review: A fabulous review of the "escapades" of the President and his wife. A well documented summary of how and why Bill and Hillary Clinton have subverted the Constitution and what this country stands for.
Rating: Summary: Shocking truths, well-told. Review: Reading Coulter's book is like picking up a stone and seeing the Clintons squirming underneath. Confirms my opinion that Clinton makes Nixon look like Mother Theresa. The Starr Report is tame by comparison. Sex is the least of it, as Coulter shows in eloquent detail. Approval ratings for Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton are inexplicable, based on a naivte that Coulter makes impossible. If you don't read this book, you have no right to an opinion on the Clinton matter.
Rating: Summary: ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT PIECE Review: Ann Coulter shines above all the crass Clinton ravings in this fine piece of work. Logic and truth, never emotion and acting such as the Clintonites perform, rule the day here. Take a look - once America sees this and all truisms about the guy, he will be kicked out summarily!
Rating: Summary: Ms. Coulter possesses humor and a good sense of history. Review: Despite the numerous Clinton synchophants, hiding behind 'it's all about sex', Ms. Coulter explains in a concise way that it mostly about 'perjury' and 'obstruction of justice'. She also traces the history of the phrase 'high crimes and misdemeanors', and illustrates that the meaning of that term does not even have to involve a 'crime' per se; she does a thorough analysis of Clinton's scandals, interspersed with her wit and humor. An excellent read.
Rating: Summary: Great!! One of the best of the books on Clinton. Review: I was hard to put this book down. I think Ann Coulter has done a great service to our country by revealing that man, Bill Clinton. Mr. Clinton has indeed commited HIGH CRIMES and Misdemeanors and Ann Coulter has revealed them to the world. ----Ron Bronson
Rating: Summary: Impeachment For Dummies Review: Luckily, I read this book two days before the Starr Referral on the Lewinsky Affair, and the President's Rebuttal (Kendall et al) were released. Ann Coulter's book provides a good measure of sanity to the craziness of the Clinton White House on the slide towards impeachment or resignation.Coulter's detailed outline and commentary provides context of where Clinton has been, and where Starr is headed, by combining history, facts, law and some pounding on the table. As with all Clintonian era books, one must apply critical thinking skills and exercise great caution so as not to confuse correlation with causation. Of the numerous Clinton White House books written, this is on the "must have" list along with such notables as Aldrich UNLIMITED ACCESS, Coltis' THE COMEBACK KID, and Hillary Clinton's IT TAKES A VILLAGE. The readability falls short of the prose of Kurtz' SPIN CYCLE and Woodward's THE AGENDA. However, the shear weight of organized material covering the numerous incidents and indictments so far make this a required reference, a great background book for scorekeeping whether listening to the White House spin du jour, reading the Starr report(s), or filtering sound bite news. HIGH CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS is the program to the numerous acts of the tragic comedy play we have learned to love and to loathe, The Clinton Presidency,
