Rating: Summary: Wow! Review: Excellent tour d'horizon and brief for the prosecution. Ms. Coulter proves that Clinton is getting away with actually doing stuff while Nixon was impeached for only attempting (unsuccessfully) to do the same. C'mon Clinton fans, read it and give it a chance -- don't be afraid. Some reviewers have questioned Ms. Coulter's constitutional scholarship. They are wrong; it is impeccable. My credentials for saying so are that I studied Constitutional Law at Harvard with Archibald Cox in 1969-70 (and got an "A"). Buy it and you won't be disappointed no matter which side you take in the contoversy.
Rating: Summary: Thanks for the Facts, Ma'am. Review: I enjoyed this book thoroughly. It is refreshing to know that there are still journalists who care about what is actually true, and what the facts are concerning our Mis-leader. Ms. Coulter has written the best Clinton expose yet, no small feat! Thank you, Ann.
Rating: Summary: Finally, Someone gives us the facts! Review: In a clear, concise, readable manner, Ms. Coulter goes through the list of offenses that makes Clinton impeachable, and why that is the necessary and constitutional end required. I am certain the few bad reviews here were written by the same person. They all sound the same, don't they? You must be able to handle the ugly truth in order to read this book. Apparently that's too much for some blindly devoted Clinton fans. Thanks, Ms. Coulter, for the book and for fighting to get the truth out on this issue.
Rating: Summary: Finally - an intelligent voice emerges Review: My wife recommended this book to me and, I must admit, it is the MOST astute analysis of the Clinton impeachment saga that I have ever read. Ann Coulter (who I had never heard of before reading this book) describes the founding fathers' rationale for impeachable offenses in a way that finally explains why Nixon could have been found subject to impeachment (depending on what the President knew and when he knew it), and why Clinton MUST be found impeachable (being the sole instigator of impeachable actions). This thoughtful, considered, and factual analysis is a far cry from Col. Cornball Carville's highly touted "And the Horse He Came In On", which simply attempts to outshout the opposition with blatently false and probably liable (definitely lie-able) accusations. Congratulations to Ann Coulter. I have since learned that she has often appeared on Rivera Live, and I am certain that I will soon know much more about her than I did before reading this book. Thank goodness there are some thinking people left in America!
Rating: Summary: Ann is brilliant! The founders case for impeachment! Review: The founders invisioned our that our leaders would be persons of great character and virtue. Such quaulities are necessary because of the discretion granted them. Unfortunately, the inherent failings of man would occaison the removal of some from office.Ann makes a case that common people can understand how the above has become necessary for our current president. It is a great read, that rivets you page after page to the seemingly never ending journey through the Clintonite's Crimes.
Rating: Summary: I bought 20 of them--to give to friends!! Review: Ann is a fresh breath of (truth) air in an American media spinning windstorm. Let's get back to basics: what DID the founders of this country really mean by the (now) magical title phrase? Ann makes this clear to those of us who aren't Constitutional scholars (especially those of us who spent half a lifetime in the military defending that self same document!). Go, Ann, go. A must reading for the current Capitol Hill gang who will make the historic decision on President Shameful.
Rating: Summary: A shocking account of the Clinton legacy. Review: Ann Coulter tells it all. Before reading this book, I was fairly neutral on the whole Bill Clinton thing. After reading this book, no one can remain neutral! Carefully and with great skill, Ann Coulter outlines for the average reader the shocking crimes Bill Clinton has committed against America. At times, it's tough to keep all the names straight, but what matters is that the reader comes away with a straightforward account of just who Bill Clinton really is, and it isn't good. We learn that this isn't "just about sex" at all, as the truths about the Clinton administration and their outrageous slanders against the American people slowly emerge. From illegaly confiscating hundreds of FBI files to allowing nuclear secrets to be passed to China, you will be justifiably outraged at how the President of the United States has redefined that office.
Rating: Summary: Brilliant!! Ann writes like she talks Review: Ann's book is very enlightening and full of energy. One can feel how strong her convictions are with every paragraph. She is obviously very informed; knows her constiution inside and out. I have truly enjoyed this book, though it can't be considered light reading.
Rating: Summary: A clear, concise read Review: Clearly explains why impeachment was meant by our founding fathers to be a means of insuring that our leaders remain people of good moral character. Also reminds us that an impeacheable offense does not have to be a criminal act. Should be required reading for every History, Civics, and Current Events teacher in every school so that our kids will understand what this process is all about.
Rating: Summary: A must read! Review: Ann does an excellent job in explaining what the original documents of our founding fathers meant by the term "high crime and misdemeanors." I did not know the impeachment process was enacted to keep politicians on track MORALLY. Her sources from the original documents leaves no doubt as to what the founding fathers meant. It's too bad the media chooses to ignore it.
